[ooc: Sam has spent the better part of the day attempting and then deleting several drafts of birthday messages to both the Deans, not entirely sure how to word it / what to say / how big of a deal to make of the whole thing / how to contain his angst, etc. This was the end result, just shortly before the midnight mark that makes it the 25th. It's kind of anticlimactic, but, y'know, whatever. Following the sending of these, he wandered off to go sit on a roof somewhere... but at least he's sober this time?]

Which sorta answers the 'where' question I guess, or the 'where not' anyway, and just leaves the 'who', the 'why' and the 'what the fuck'. Someone want to give a guy an explanation here?
