I'd forgotten how commercial Valentine's Day was, all flowers and sappy cards and 'you're a terrible person if you don't show your love with a gift'. It's just so stupid. Well, maybe not stupid, but silly. 'S not like you need an excuse to show that you care for someone, or that February 14th is any more important than any other day of the year for lovers.

Well, that's just great. Apartment 605, they tell me. I get here only to find there is no apartment 605, because the whole freaking building has mysteriously burned to the ground?

Good thing I work at a hotel. Who wants to crash at my place?

Any theories on whether our gracious hosts are going to give us new apartments or if we're fending for ourselves now? This church makes my skin itch.

Right kids, here's the deal.

Far as I understand it, Jo Junior and Sam the Psycho Younger did what they did to try and get me back after the Powers That Be kicked me out that time. So if you've got issues with them you can take them out on me. I'll be the jerk with the '67 Chevy. No holds barred, just don't hurt Baby the car, okay? There's angry and there's just being a douche.

You go after either of them, though, and we'll have a problem. Fair warning.

I get that they're not exactly top of anyone's Christmas list right now, but Jo won't wake up's in a bad way and Sam... I don't friggin' know, he won't let anyone near him. Anyway. Does that offer of healing extend this way?

Greetings, displaced citizens. I didn't take the time to grab my PDA when I was getting the hell out of Dodge finding my pants was difficult enough. And making sure my...Buffy got out too... but as soon as I settled in one place for more than five seconds, it just sort of showed up. I'm guessing everyone's got their PDAs back. At least, I hope everyone's got them.

This is a role call. Because we need to know who's here and who's missing, and who didn't make it. Take a moment, please, and reply here, so your friends and loved ones can find you? You sons-of-bitches running this thing have got to realize that rebooting a classic never works out anything other than lame, right? Especially if it's going to be this friggin' half-assed. Least you could have done is change the intro music. That whole 'comply or die' thing isn't getting any less stupid.

Round 1 was fun, sure, but I am so far beyond done with this 'Papillon' bullshit. You don't get to give a guy his life back and then pull that sort of crap on him again. So how about you just point me to the exit before anyone gets hurt?

Sam and I are going to go do something to try and get our hosts' attention. If we don't come back for some reason take care of our puppies okay?
