I'd forgotten how commercial Valentine's Day was, all flowers and sappy cards and 'you're a terrible person if you don't show your love with a gift'. It's just so stupid. Well, maybe not stupid, but silly. 'S not like you need an excuse to show that you care for someone, or that February 14th is any more important than any other day of the year for lovers.

So is this it? We're just going to be living at the hotel and other places around town now?

Well, that's just great. Apartment 605, they tell me. I get here only to find there is no apartment 605, because the whole freaking building has mysteriously burned to the ground?

Good thing I work at a hotel. Who wants to crash at my place?

Any theories on whether our gracious hosts are going to give us new apartments or if we're fending for ourselves now? This church makes my skin itch.
