Arthur had been in the village for three weeks, but the place still felt surreal. On one hand, he couldn't help how excited he felt that such a thing could exist, but on the other? He missed his children, his job, and his shed. He was just glad Molly was from roughly the same time period. He could see how an age difference could put a damper on a relationship. Still, he mourned the loss of five out of seven of his children. He thought having Ron and Charlie all grown up was better than not having them at all even if he missed their little selves at the same time. He adored meeting all the additions to his family too. Grandchildren? A nephew? A sister-in-law? Great-grandchildren? Daughters-in-law? He came from a time of war, a time where he faced loss, so it was good to know the future would bring happiness.

One thing he couldn't feel okay about yet? Living with Death Eaters. He knew they were not the right age and technically innocent, but they made his skin crawl, especially when he heard tidbits about the village's past. He hadn't asked for too much information about either the village's past or his future, but hearing some things could not be avoided. He didn't always like what he heard either.

He wasn't thinking about Death Eaters or time travel as he looked around the fantastic disco-thingy. He had no idea how to work roller skates or what half the songs meant, but he welcomed the scene. He couldn't stay upright for more than a minute, but he laughed every time he crashed into a wall. Hey, he was a wizard. He had protective charms set up obviously.

MAC planned a Disco Night at Strikes & Skates. She might hate her job there, but she loves planning events! You can read about Roller Disco here. The music will be 70s themed so feel free to pick upbeat music from that time period when discussing the event/writing threads/posting journals. PLEASE remember to tag your character's name when replying.

WHAT: Draco needs to "borrow" a wand.
WHERE: School while waiting for someone to bring him home (I will say Remus if easiest).

Draco finally went to school even though he didn't want to. The castle was not Durmstrang or even Hogwarts so he didn't think he should have to suffer through classes in a "fake" village. And if he needed to attend? He wanted Tutor. Getting angry about school and wands was easier than admitting he was homesick. He missed his parents. He missed his room. Still, he went to school because he didn't have much choice. Life was pretty simple for the eight-year-old - obey or get in trouble. Since he didn't want to get punished, he minded the adults in charge after some whining and pouting.

He was relieved that some of the people who "played" with him were classmates even if they were all older or younger than Draco. He was even pleased to have Remus part of the day since the man was a familiar face albeit a yucky scarred one. He attached himself to Orla and Miles when he could and the day ended soon enough.

"Do you want to see the colour books?" He asked Orla once they were released for the day.

Even after a few holidays in the village, Albus felt strange not having his entire family around, but it made him appreciate those with him even more. He spent the earlier part of the day bouncing from home to home to wish everyone a Happy Christmas before popping in at the Holiday Party. He noticed how awesome the place looked immediately. He'd have to offer his help next year. He stopped to chat with a few people before heading for the food. He helped himself to a heaping plate before scanning the place for more familiar faces. He spotted AJ and made a beeline for her. "Allie!" He called over the music.
