The weather was surprisingly nice for such a sad day. There had been a small area set up by the lake for those wishing to pay their respects. On a small table, lay a variety of river rocks of different shapes and sizes, set aside for those who wished to write something on them. Near that lay a small table with a variety of drinks, charmed to stay crisp and cool despite being out. There was also, hidden under the table by Rowena, a small case of calming draught for anyone who would need it.

The evening sun was starting to set over the water. Floating lanterns and candles hung in the air, and several clustered around the pond as a makeshift candle vigil. Soon, people began sharing stories and memories of those lost, casting their pebbles and the memories with them into the clear blue of the lake.

This place… well, it was strange, but there were plenty of good things going on. She got to meet her father, she was working on not feeling like a complete outcast when it came to her new found cousins and uncles. She got to meet two of the founders, and learn from them. She got to watch her parents interact for the first time, and while she definitely had some thoughts on that--- well, it was surreal. And she sort of loved it. All of it.

Packing up her homework, and putting it away in her room, it suddenly hit Megan how hungry she was. She mosed over to the kitchens, and not seeing anything in particular she wanted, she knew where to go. She didn’t have a whole lot of money, just the bit her mother kicked over to her in allowances, but it didn’t hurt to go out to eat once in a while. And Maybe she could sweet talk Mike into giving her a discount.

The whole village just seemed empty as she walked, which seemed strange to her, usually people were out and about at any time of day. She didn’t think anything of it, she knew that a lot of people had embarrassment over the green hue in their hair and maybe it was enough to keep most people at home (though hers had already faded). She stepped into the restaurant area, and saw no customers, or Michael even.

“Mike?” She called, stepping forward as she saw a shadow move in the dining room. She blinked when she saw him, all bulky and slack jawed. He was not Mike. She turned on a heel and practically ran to the door. But it wouldn’t open, she pushed and pushed. She threw all of her weight into it. It didn’t budge. Her heart started pounding in her chest, and tears welled in her eyes. He’d trapped her. He caught her and now he was going to do something awful. She knew it. She knew it. He was going to hurt her. He was going to. She remembered. She knew his face. He was one of the one’s who had escorted her to the Carrows. He remembered how they’d grabbed her, they’d hit her, and hexed her until she couldn’t fight them anymore.

She spun then, turning her attention from the door to the person who’d trapped her. She pulled her wand and aimed it dead at him. “You let me out of here, you let me out of here right now, or you will regret it.”

Draco still really doesn't understand most muggle things. He has taken a liking to films and some muggle clothing, but that world still mostly remains a mystery to him. This is where Colin comes in. Besides, Draco may fancy Fleur, but Colin is always going to be his plus one too! Seriously, Draco needed Colin's help for this thing. Draco did his best to make this as close to a magic free evening for Greg that he could, but the poor boy doesn't know how to do much sans magic. He doesn't even know if Greg likes bowling, but he couldn't think of a more muggle like activity in the village. He did, however, try to keep it as simple as he could. He catered the food from Mike's Corner and ordered the cake from the bakery. He let Roxy make a sign and just hoped she didn't overdo it (he is not holding his breath, it is why he loves her, ha). His present to Greg included a book on management, a basket of alcohol, and a framed photo of Draco, Vince, and Greg (being the genealogist with access to photographs from varying times really comes in handy sometimes).
