Who: Lorcan D'Eath and Harry Potter
Where: The Wireless
What: Hiding out and making a broadcast.
Rating: Low.
Status: Ongoing if people call in.

***

Are we up and running? Looks like it, Harry... Lorcan D'Eath here with a guest host this evening, Harry say hello to the village...

Er. Where do I- Right here? Is that a- Um. Hello.. Village. Harry here. Lorcan just said that. Hi.

He's surprisingly nervous. *laughs* I'm just relieved to be back on air, a bit of normalcy in a otherwise crazy mixed up world. Up is down and left is sometimes right, but hey, we always manage to keep on trucking through, yeah?

Lorcan, what does this do?

Don't touch that! It's the self destruct button Harry. *Clattering noises followed by Harry's voice faintly in the back ground.* I'm just kidding, relax, yeah? That's the switch to let people with the little devices I sent out months back call in if they want to. It's going to be switched on folks, in a bit. You'll be told when so feel free to give us a shout, a kind word, or Harry some praise, when I open up the lines, if you'd like something played.

Speaking of music, since it is what I'm here for, I've a new song for you. A new new song. If you can guess who it's by, I'll be impressed. If she is listening, yes I got your message. And I've no idea what you were prattling on about in parts, love. But you stick it to the right music, I rather like it. I'm calling it, I'm on Fire.

***

And we are back. Harry is still in one piece and so is the wireless. You've got a song you'd like me to play, yeah? The co-host should get a pick.

I trust your musical selections as I contribute nothing.

Not so. Good company, comedic relief. Don't sell yourself short, mate. You can always whisper it to me, if you want.

*Whispers*

A song by The Beatles? And he says he contributes nothing. Consider it done. He's rather hush hush, isn't he? I think the person it's for will know. Here it is, In My Life.

***

*Loud clammering sounds* Ow, I'm okay.

Back again. I'm not too sure how much longer the kid's nerves will hold out. I've two song's I have chosen tonight. Sometimes I just get stuck on songs and I want to hear them over and over again. Luckily one is a dedication I'd like to make. So I'll start with that first. *Laughs* Just pull up a seat Harry, and chill, yeah? You're not going to break anything...

And back to you, listeners. This one goes out to Fred and George Weasley. Without them, where would be all be? Some of us had dragons, the others a kraken. Some a flood, others a fire. Two days time it could have been Cthulhu. They got us back in the nick of time, yeah? And I heard this song, and it stuck. So village, what would you do if you had all the power? Catchy song if anything. It's called The Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Song. The second song you'll hear is by a band called the Eels. I've always been a fan melancholy songs. So here it is. I'm Going to Stop Pretending I didn't Break Your Heart.

It's that time. Requests and dedications. And to start the night off I have one sent out to Nymphadora Tonks. You're in your cousin's thoughts. And mine also. Here is Never Give Up by Two is One, from Draco.

And yes, the lines are open.

Who: Lorcan D'Eath and whomever is listening
When: Friday Night, 10pm ish.
Where: The Wireless.
What: Killing time and over thinking, and OMG finally playing songs he forgot to play...Oops.

...

And that was The Blower's Daughter by Damien Rice, as requested and woefully late. And Brick by Boring Brick, by Rose Zeller her new song recorded at your local wireless. Jealous? You should be.

Lorcan D'Eath here, fulfilling my promises, albeit a bit late. Sorry about that, lovelies. My plate has been a bit full as of late and I can't seem to get it cleared. Then again, the same can be said of most everyone here from time to time. Give me a moment and I'll take a jaunt back down melancholy hill and stand back on more level footing.

I asked and got some feedback, but themes are hard to come by or in short supply. So I guess I took them and mixed them together. Or maybe the theme is my mood. Maybe there is no real theme, just human nature, or the experience. Could be? More likely just an over indulgence on my part. I rarely do this, so bare with me. I'll listen and you can listen with me. I'll start off with a classic.

Don't Fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
How Soon is Now - The Smiths

Back again, I still have a few tracks I'd like to hear tonight. I'm not sure whose out there this evening, but if my tastes are not to your liking, my apologies. Drop me a line some time and give me an idea of what you'd like to hear. Otherwise I'm left with idle hands and too much time. Feel free to stop me at any time.

Walking Wounded - The Tea Party
Walking in my Shoes. - Depeche Mode

It occurs to me at times like these that it's plain to see what decades I got to live through. Although on occasion I find a song I've not heard before and toss it in the mix. Both songs walking and I guess that's a subtle cue to myself to do just that. That's it for me, I've places to be.

Remember the wireless is here for you all to enjoy. I'm here for whatever everyone else needs. That's what I do. Keep it in mind and oi! You want a radio show, speak to myself or as I hear it, George Weasley's nomination for Prettiest Man in the Village, Mr Lee Jordan.

Good night and sweet dreams.

Who: Lorcan D'Eath and anyone else who wants to call in.
When: 10pm, Monday Night and onward.
Where: Lorcan is at the Wireless, anyone calling in is by a radio.
What: Call in show. Requests and chat.
Instructions: Callers cannot speak to one another, but they can hear the conversation that took place before hand so they can comment on it. Place your character's name in the comment. Start each conversation as a new comment thread. I'll link em all as they come in. You don't need to worry about descriptions and stuff. It's dialogue and runs much like a normal journal entry.
Rating/Status: Depends on what people have to talk about/ Thread is ongoing.

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung, Would you hear my voice come thru the music, Would you hold it near as it were your own? )

I'm not here to stir the pot tonight. I'm here to give you the chance to speak. Without judgement. Without fear of persecution. What I offer to you this evening is a chance to be heard. And I invite you to speak with me. And perhaps you do not want to reveal to me your name. If so give me another, an alias. That's fine.
I'm not here to pry. It is not my intent. My heart is always open. My mind free and willing.

Speak to me about anything you wish. Serious or not. Perhaps my words tonight, if you wish and it triggers a thought. Your own musings, also welcome. Want to request a song? Also can be done. I'll be here for several hours. Plug in your microphones, and press the button on the handle to speak. It will connect here at the wireless and Lee, who is a bloody god sent will pick up each speaker as the calls chime in and get you on air.

And while we set up, please listen to this song. It's one by the band I quoted earlier. Even if this music isn't too your liking, listen to the words. Use them as food for thought. I'll be dreaming too, as the lyrics will tell you. And after it comes to a close, press your button. I await your calls.

Late Night Broadcast

I know I said I was taking a few days off, but I couldn't truly deny this place for long. I don't take up my air space, it's best left for our DJ's like Lee, whose broadcasts are always top notch. But surely taking over the airwaves so very late into the night can't be that much of a sin or indulgence on my part, can it? I keep late hours. It's unavoidable really. I'll likely be on till close to sunrise. Keep me company, won't you lovely listeners?

With the announcement of Spring Havoc today, it seemed a grand idea to throw out some of the new songs recorded here at your local wireless. Also I feel it makes up for the fact that I'm Captain of one of the teams. Let me apologize in advance. I'm a lover and not a fighter. Athletics are not my forte. So let me make amends now and embarrass you later. First up in the line up I bring you Emmeline Vance and her song titled, Sentimental Heart, for those of you who missed it. And those who did, for shame. She really has far fairer a voice then she gives herself credit. Next up, for all you Weird Sisters fans out there here is Kirley Duke and his first solo venture, Long Hair. Guitar, lyrics and vocals performed by Kirley. Now close your eyes, relax and float downstream. Take a listen and I'll be back in a few.

-----------------------

Welcome back listeners. Are you still there? Have you suddenly an urge to perform? I hope so. There is no grander a feeling then crafting your own music and giving it to the people. If you have a dream reach for the heavens, even if you fall you'll land amongst the stars. Music is like an old friend. It keeps you company, reminds you of times long since past and never minds your hanging on it's every word. We have yet another couple of new tunes for you to make acquaintances with. We've another new singer, paired with an already renown guitarist. Here is Bells are Ringing. Vocals by Bellatrix Black, guitar by Kirley Duke and lyrics for Ms Black are provided by myself. After this hot new track is a new song by yours truly. I had a couple, but this is the one I was urged to play and told it should be my first new addition on air. Thanks for that, Sirius. This one then is for you. Killing Loneliness.

-----------------------

That's it! There can be no more new songs on air tonight. Terrible really. And a great shame. I see so many lyrics posted daily. Seems a crime and waste they've not been recorded. You know where to find me. You know I'm always here for you. I promise I won't bite. I am rather nice. Won't you swing by and record a new tune for me? Hear yourself singing, in perfect time and melody.

I've abused my power enough for one night. And so keeping in mind a dear mate who wished for more low key music at night I leave you Draco with this. Followed by a series of low key songs to lull you all into slumbers wanting and loving arms.
