Are we up and running? Looks like it, Harry... Lorcan D'Eath here with a guest host this evening, Harry say hello to the village...
Er. Where do I- Right here? Is that a- Um. Hello.. Village. Harry here. Lorcan just said that. Hi.
He's surprisingly nervous. *laughs* I'm just relieved to be back on air, a bit of normalcy in a otherwise crazy mixed up world. Up is down and left is sometimes right, but hey, we always manage to keep on trucking through, yeah?
Lorcan, what does this do?
Don't touch that! It's the self destruct button Harry. *Clattering noises followed by Harry's voice faintly in the back ground.* I'm just kidding, relax, yeah? That's the switch to let people with the little devices I sent out months back call in if they want to. It's going to be switched on folks, in a bit. You'll be told when so feel free to give us a shout, a kind word, or Harry some praise, when I open up the lines, if you'd like something played.
Speaking of music, since it is what I'm here for, I've a new song for you. A new new song. If you can guess who it's by, I'll be impressed. If she is listening, yes I got your message. And I've no idea what you were prattling on about in parts, love. But you stick it to the right music, I rather like it. I'm calling it, ♬ I'm on Fire.
And we are back. Harry is still in one piece and so is the wireless. You've got a song you'd like me to play, yeah? The co-host should get a pick.
I trust your musical selections as I contribute nothing.
Not so. Good company, comedic relief. Don't sell yourself short, mate. You can always whisper it to me, if you want.
*Whispers*
A song by The Beatles? And he says he contributes nothing. Consider it done. He's rather hush hush, isn't he? I think the person it's for will know. Here it is, ♬ In My Life.
*Loud clammering sounds* Ow, I'm okay.
Back again. I'm not too sure how much longer the kid's nerves will hold out. I've two song's I have chosen tonight. Sometimes I just get stuck on songs and I want to hear them over and over again. Luckily one is a dedication I'd like to make. So I'll start with that first. *Laughs* Just pull up a seat Harry, and chill, yeah? You're not going to break anything...
And back to you, listeners. This one goes out to Fred and George Weasley. Without them, where would be all be? Some of us had dragons, the others a kraken. Some a flood, others a fire. Two days time it could have been Cthulhu. They got us back in the nick of time, yeah? And I heard this song, and it stuck. So village, what would you do if you had all the power? Catchy song if anything. It's called ♬ The Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Song. The second song you'll hear is by a band called the Eels. I've always been a fan melancholy songs. So here it is. ♬ I'm Going to Stop Pretending I didn't Break Your Heart.
It's that time. Requests and dedications. And to start the night off I have one sent out to Nymphadora Tonks. You're in your cousin's thoughts. And mine also. Here is ♬ Never Give Up by Two is One, from Draco.
And yes, the lines are open.
