Arthur didn't just want to get to know Hermione because she was his future daughter-in-law. Sure, that was special, but he saw that Hermione was important to Ron in the village too. He wasn't certain if they were dating or not, but that didn't matter. He knew bits and pieces of their past together and he also knew their son recently arrived. He thought Hugo (like all his grandkids) was aces, which had to mean Ron and Hermione were bloody good parents. Arthur worried he wasn't a good dad even though Ron once told him he was so he was glad to see his kids seemed like good parents. Of course, he hadn't met them all yet. He really wanted to, but he was at the village's mercy. And that? Was why Arthur didn't want to wait to get to know anyone properly. They could disappear tomorrow.

Arthur really wasn't a cook so he asked the pair to meet him at the cafe. He thought the smaller area would afford them more privacy for talking.

ALBUS planned a day at the waterpark in honor of Roxy's birthday. He invited any close friends and family members to attend the event. He arranged for everyone to go to Mike's Corner free of charge due to Mike's soft spot for Roxy. Someone please buy or bake a cake. His actual birthday gift includes a hand painted sign for Roxy's new shop as well as a photograph placed into a hand-decorated frame of her parents and Fred II. He got the photograph thanks to the Genealogist Office.

WHAT: Checking up on the youngest Weasley boy.

Remus finally felt rested. After Friday's memorial, he crawled into bed and slept. He didn't stir, he didn't need the loo, he wasn't overcome with some crazy urge to check on his son...he just slept. Bloody hell, he needed that rest. He felt sharper, which meant he was ready to start sorting his feelings about his hospital visit with Peter, but also ready to confront what was happening with his wife. She hadn't had an easy time as of late and he was running out of ideas on how to make her feel better when, in the end, he wasn't able to give her a baby. Teddy had been a fluke. It was the only explanation. Remus' genes weren't good enough. Still, sometimes he really needed to get away from all that guilt. She didn't blame him, but Remus would feel so horrible when he looked at her at times.

He would have checked on his other loved ones regardless, but he had to admit he welcomed leaving the house after too many hours in it. It was just a bonus that he had a good night's sleep. He was faced with who to check in on first. Sadly, there were many possibilities, but he thought of Ron first. Harry lived in the same cottage, but he also had his parents and Sirius (Remus really tried not to feel jealous about the last) around. Ron's mother was still in school and he just lost several family members. While he was sure Molly and the rest were reaching out too, he had a hunch it couldn't be easy dealing with so many varying ages. At least he was what Ron remembered, right?

He grabbed tea and a few sweets before arriving quite unannounced. He hoped he gave them enough time to sleep in at least.

The weather was surprisingly nice for such a sad day. There had been a small area set up by the lake for those wishing to pay their respects. On a small table, lay a variety of river rocks of different shapes and sizes, set aside for those who wished to write something on them. Near that lay a small table with a variety of drinks, charmed to stay crisp and cool despite being out. There was also, hidden under the table by Rowena, a small case of calming draught for anyone who would need it.

The evening sun was starting to set over the water. Floating lanterns and candles hung in the air, and several clustered around the pond as a makeshift candle vigil. Soon, people began sharing stories and memories of those lost, casting their pebbles and the memories with them into the clear blue of the lake.

Welcome to the village's Winter Wonderland! The village is freshly covered in soft snow, the lake is frozen over, there are holiday decorations everywhere, and plenty of winter activities to enjoy! Go ice skating, go skiing, grab hot chocolate, and check out the booths set up along the main road leading up to the community garden.
