Warded to Lavender: I miss you, I want you, when are you free?


Public: Thinking of shutting the shop for a week or so in the coming month, but haven't decided yet. Either way, a heads up you might want to get in any long term orders now just in case. I figure it's just post holiday season, so it shouldn't be too busy, right? What do you all think?

Warded to Alicia: These have been the longest four days of my life, I swear to Salazar himself. Mind if I bring take away up to the house for you and the kids tonight or tomorrow? I've missed you and I desperately need real food and a night outside of my potions room.


Warded to Susan: How is the new year treating you, Red? Still saving the world every day? Might you be able to find time outside of saving the world to grab a drink sometime soon?

Written early Sunday morning in very shaky handwriting.

My left leg is gone still there and I can feel it but I can't see it! I can't leave the house like this! and I don't know how to get to St Malkin's Mungo's! What do I do?

The good news:
-Zacharias is the best friend I have ever had. This deserves re-iteration to the point of obnoxiousness.
-Meatball didn't destroy my tattoo parlor during my unintended extended absence.
-I am back in London and no longer being held hostage by surrounded by crazy family members.

The bad news:
-The weather is thirty degrees colder than I have become accustomed to and it is ridiculously uncomfortable.

The bad news is offset by the fact that I am now here in London to complain about the weather.

Basically I'm just really happy to be home.

Warded to Melinda: Gorgeous neighbor of mine - I want to do something nice for Lavender. I've never really had to think of nice things to do for witches before (got by on my good looks and charm, of course, and when that didn't work I always had my family money!). I'm planning on taking a week off sometime soon and figure it's still a little early to go away on holiday together or anything like that, but what do you think? Something else? I get her flowers sometimes, and have cooked for her, and of course know good wine, but... I don't know. What do you think?

It's a quiet night and I've been relegated to the office. Banished might be the word.

So it's time to collect some thoughts, since I'm always looking for ways to improve this place.


-Is there a way Wingbeat could be more accommodating for you or your friends? (For example I made sure there was some seating because I'm an amputee and I know sometimes seats are necessary.)

-Is there something that would entice you/people you know to come that's stopping you at the moment?
