Warded to Melinda: Gorgeous neighbor of mine - I want to do something nice for Lavender. I've never really had to think of nice things to do for witches before (got by on my good looks and charm, of course, and when that didn't work I always had my family money!). I'm planning on taking a week off sometime soon and figure it's still a little early to go away on holiday together or anything like that, but what do you think? Something else? I get her flowers sometimes, and have cooked for her, and of course know good wine, but... I don't know. What do you think?

Ah, thinking of nice things to do for witches. What a lovely sentiment. Don't worry, dear, if you just relax and go with it, the first time should be relatively pain free.

All kidding aside; that sounds like a really good idea and IT'S ABOUT TIME!!

Now, I don't know Lavender other than as a customer of mine, so please keep that in mind, because the most important part of doing something nice for a witch, is doing it personally and with her in mind, all right?

As for going away on a holiday... maybe it is a little early, but you don't have to make it a holiday. Maybe a little get-away for one or two days could be an idea? It doesn't even have to be far away. Is there some place she'd always dreamed of visiting? Some thing that she'd always wanted to see or try? Some delicacy that she's only ever heard of but never tried or something she tried as a child and haven't had since? An example could be the two of you spending a day in Prague to see the Astronomical Clock or counting the statues on the Charles Bridge. JUST an example, I'm not saying that's what you should do.

This would show her that you pay attention to her and that you want to make her dreams come true, no matter how small they are.

Or, you could go in the other direction and let her in by sharing something that means something to you: is there some place you've always dreamed of going? Something or somewhere that brings up good things/memories/thoughts in you? Some special fruit that you really, really love that you want her to taste?

Otherwise, go out on a limb, take a chance, but keep it personal. Keep it Cormac and Lavender.
