She sat beside him on his ratty couch. He poured her another glass of wine and silence and time stretched on.

It was the same, every week's end. She stopped at his place, he'd make dinner and they'd maybe watch a movie and snuggle.

It was almost always 1am when they decided to call their evening to an end.

Seifer leaned in and gave her a kiss to the cheek and handed her an envelope that contained her fee.

"Why do you do this?"
"I have no one."
"...nobody?"
"No. They left me long ago."
"...oh."
"See you next week?"

The information gathered was good and it was double checked. They had found Seifer Almasy and Quisits was the one sent to talk to him.

She intercepted the regular woman, who almost complained until she was handed double the amount of money she'd normally get from an evening with Seifer. This made her cautious.

"Who are you?"
"A friend of his." Quistis glanced at his door.
"He said they left him. Doesn't have anyone."

She blinked in surprise as the other walked away. Did he really think that? Feel that they left him? One way to find out.

She knocked.

Balamb got some good sleep and came in with 30 points!

Money. Some say that it can run the world. It can buy silence, buy information, buy happiness and possibly love. It can be the bane of one's life and it can slip through your fingers as fast as you get it.

Did Rinoa feel resentful after leaving her father's wealthy care to have to live on a SeeD salary and compete with Gunblade upgrades? Is there something that Quistis would spend any amount of Gil on? Does Zell take care of his Ma now that he has a high ranking SeeD position? Maybe for all the wealth in the Esthar government, Laguna just wants the simple things instead of having to stare at a huge budget. Would Ward pay any amount of money to get his voice back? Does Seifer now scrimp and save for every little thing or has he found a way to rake in the big bucks?

However the shiny Gil coin rolls, fork it over, but only in 100 words.
