She recently came across his self-destruction. Witnessing it jarred her into reality, his reality; finding the former Knight laid out on the floor in a cold sweat, covered in his own vomit was something that frightened her to the core.

Fujin sought out the one man who might be able to help him: Squall Leonhart, Commander of Balamb G and she found him just as he was exiting the lift. She grabbed his arm.
"Fujin!"
"SEIFER."
An eyebrow rose.
"His conscience... over-whelmed him."
"And?"
“Please...help him” She begged, a tear slid down her cheek. “If not him, then me.”

It was cool and dark in their room but Rinoa didn’t need any lights to see who she was looking at. She seen him day in and day out, moments stolen when he wasn’t looking to memorize his features.

She heard the rumors, the gossip, the talk. After a while she started to believe what they were saying. That she, a Sorceress, worked a spell on her Knight and that she did it carelessly. Without thought. Without thinking of others or how it would effect them in the long or short term.

There was one word on her conscience: Selfish.

Cid felt his conscience prick him every time he signed an order. One of the children could be hurt, or even killed, if he did not pick them correctly, or if the situation got out of hand. But they wouldn't grow if he sheltered them, so he choked back his sighs and signed his name. Then he went out and strangled his guilt so he could give them inspirational speeches. Then he carefully held his hands steady and gave crushing handshakes either for support or congratulations over a job well done.

Then he went back to his office and cried.

So the word Exam scared all Cadets and everyone was hiding or they were off studying! No points awarded anywhere! Hopefully this week's word can bring them out to play!
