The Sorceress is dead, powers have moved on and the new Sorceress, well, she has yet to come home. To the seat of her powers.

The floating castle hadn't disappeared, it still remains tethered, waiting. Granted, it wasn't dark and brooding - it's walls were lighter stone and it looked brighter, inviting even.

Squall had SeeDs watch it for any unusual activities but the reports came back with nothing unusual happening.

He could order his SeeDs but he couldn't stop Rinoa from going to the Castle. Couldn't stop her from walking it's halls and sitting in the throne.

Seated in power.

Last week Balamb G won with a tiny 10 points. Galbadia and Trabia weren't on the train. Hopefully they won't miss this week's!


This week's word prompt: #17 - Castle

It's a must in any game or fandom and almost always, it's the bad guys or the "ethically confused" who have them. Why is that?
Ultimecia's castle, did other Sorceresses once live there, or was it strickly her own? If Rinoa is a Sorceress now, will she have a castle or just twist General Daddy's manor into a castle of her tastes?
Perhaps it's not who dwelt there, but the vibes or energy you get from it. Do the walls feel like they're creeping in, ready to crush you? Does the castle feel alive or benign?
