Every which way he turned there was nothing but dry, caked grey earth around him, stretching out to the horizon.

He called out for his posse and heard nothing but his own voice echoing in the vast empty space. Seifer walked on, still looking, still hoping to find someone.

"Anyone? Squall? Zell? Quistis? Please?"

The voice came from nowhere and everywhere. It was her voice, the one that he heard in his mind for what seemed like years.

"You think they would want you, Knight? You must be mistaken, to believe that they even think you're something to save now."

This week's word prompt: #84 - Mistaken Identity


It happens to everyone at one point in their life, they get mistaken for someone else. It's stated that everyone out there has a twin of them in the world! Perhaps its the same for our wonderful cast of characters?

Do Squall and Laguna get mistaken for each other at times and does Laguna blush and get a bit flustered because someone thought of him as being younger than what he looks? Or does Squall pinch the bridge of his nose and secretly wonder how anyone could have mistaken him for a moron? Does Seifer get drunken bar folk in his face, upset for actions of the war and his way out is that they're mistaken about who he is? Perhaps there is another with an appearance like Irvine, who gets the sniper into trouble?

However the situation comes about, lay it out in 100 words!
