This week's word prompt: #133 - Wet

It's the opposite of dry and can lead to some interesting thoughts. Wet skin, wet clothes... well you get the idea. But not all things wet can be good.

Maybe Quistis is being a wet blanket and ruining everyone's fun? Perhaps Squall has wet clothes and is stuck in Trabia's snowfields?

This week's word prompt: #131 - Ultimecia

Sorceress from the future hell bent to destroy the past and those who wronged her. Or perhaps she really is Rinoa and has forgotten who she once was. What's going on with her body and her hands/feet looking far different than the rest of her - is it a reason for not having a Knight, or are her powers mutating her for another reason?

Drabbles can be from Ultimecia's point of view or just about her from afar, but they must include Ulti somewhere in just 100 words.

Showers! They're great for warming you up or getting monster guts off of yourself. Or for ogling the other sexy SeeDs and Cadets. But not everyone really enjoys them, there might be some who would rather give their best weapon for a nice soaker tub.

Does Squall have a hidden love for deep tubs, the kind that you can soak up to your chin in? Does Zell need to take cold showers to help with issues or muscle spasms? Does Selphie have cameras set up in the shower rooms and charge 5 gil a head to watch when she has something juicy? Do taking showers solidify some monster guts instead of cleaning it off?

Whatever the deal is with the shower, give it up with suds and 100 words.

This week's word prompt: #129 - Envy

This is the last of the 7 Deadly Sins. More can be read from the Wiki about Envy. It has been described as "sorrow for another's good".

Personally, I think I'm guilty of this for being envious of wanting to live in a world that has neat things like Guardian Forces and leather clad angsty boys and Laguna.

Anyway, no matter how you share your tale of Envy, give it up in 100 words.

Greed, also known as avarice or covetousness, is, like lust and gluttony, a sin of excess.

However, greed is applied to a very excessive or rapacious desire and pursuit of wealth, status, and power.

"Avarice" is more of a blanket term that can describe many other examples of greedy behavior. These include disloyalty, deliberate betrayal, or treason,[citation needed] especially for personal gain, for example through bribery .

Scavenging and hoarding of materials or objects, theft and robbery, especially by means of violence, trickery, or manipulation of authority are all actions that may be inspired by greed. Such misdeeds can include simony, where one profits from soliciting goods within the actual confines of a church.

Shiva was not pleased. She was, in fact very pissed off and a bit frightened.

This new magic that invaded kept pushing at her, shoving her around to other parts of his mind, parts that she knew were off limits. Her touch would freeze, take and consume memories and other knowledge - things that should not be taken in order for him to live.

She could not wait any longer, could not move any further and stood her ground to attack. The ice queen raged and unleashed her wrath against the invading Sorceress magic, unaware of the damage Squall was taking.

Wrath (Latin, ira), also known as anger or "rage", may be described as inordinate and uncontrolled feelings of hatred and anger. Anger, in its purest form, presents with self-destructiveness, violence, and hate that may provoke feuds that can go on for centuries. Anger may persist long after the person who did another a grievous wrong is dead. Feelings of anger can manifest in different ways, including impatience, revenge, and vigilantism.

Wrath is the only sin not necessarily associated with selfishness or self-interest (although one can of course be wrathful for selfish reasons, such as jealousy, closely related to the sin of envy). Dante described vengeance as "love of justice perverted to revenge and spite". In its original form, the sin of wrath also encompassed anger pointed internally rather than externally. Thus suicide was deemed as the ultimate, albeit tragic, expression of wrath directed inwardly, a final rejection of God'sHyne's gifts.

This week's Deadly Sin is Sloth. While many think of it as habitual disinclination to exertion; indolence; laziness, the wiki article states it was more to be the failure to utilize one's talents and gifts.
For this week, the use of Sloth (Acedia and Despair) or laziness is totally okay by me!

Author's Notes: While the term vainglory means excessive elation or pride over one's own achievements or abilities, it can also mean that there is empty pomp or show - which I think at times, applies very well to my dear Knight.


His eyes raked over his features in the mirror; took in his hair. Always in place and the perfect shade of blonde. The scar that only heightened his allure. Might have to thank Leonhart for it.

Green eyes skimmed their way down high cheekbones to the lips. Slightly full when not sneering at those beneath him, which sadly wasn't often. Everyone is always beneath me

Seifer knew his body was perfect. He worked out and kept himself in top shape. Nothing better than catching people staring at my physique when they shouldn't be. Gets them in the sack easier too.

Author's Notes: I wanted to scream at them to "just suck it up!" but it didn't go that way!

He longed to go back like he longed to spar with Leonhart again, but he wouldn't go back. He couldn't. Can't swallow pride when it chokes you on the way down.

It would be too much to ask Seifer to come back, even if it would be for his supposed protection. Everyone, including Zell, bullied him to seek him out, but there were some things he couldn't allow himself to do. This was one of those things.

Squall watched Seifer turn away from the large arching gates of Balamb Garden and tried to convince himself it was for the best.

They didn't know this but the spell was already woven. They stared in rapt fascination which grew into a frenzied want. A desire, a need not fulfilled. And that, in turn would become a lust. Perverse and wrong. They
would die for her and the streets would run bloodied rivers.

Speeches wasn't important, they were all under her spell and proved this as she killed their President.

He was filled with power: It poured out of his body when he moved, tumbled from his lips as he laughed and spoke. He was divinity and they would listen. He would bring them into a new era, into a new world

His Knight was long dead by his own hands - manic thoughts to take her power for his own. That was the thing, it really was his own power and she was merely his conduit. It was a minor, stupid mistake that wouldn’t happen again.

The pain was sharp, biting and felt like it could cut deeper than the place it lodged in her heart. It felt like a burn in her soul. Something that could sputter out and leave her breathless.

Selphie steeled herself. She was stronger than this. They were stronger than this and they weren't going to give up without a fight. It simply wasn't her way. Or their way.

She had changed him. She stripped him bare, peeled away the layers, the icy cold and left him naked. In their place, she left many other things, some fell by the wayside when she left him. One stayed and burrowed deeper: Lust.

It filtered into his mind and caused him to see his friends in a new light. Many of them in new ways. Ways that ended with him craving their bodies, the sounds of the moans they might make while their bodies joined and climaxed.

Not once did he approach them but gave into fantasies before falling into sleep.

Balamb G won with 40 points! Everyone else was too tight lipped to share secrets. >.>

a: pleasure or delight.

So... Do I need to say more? Seifer has a lust for power and probably has lecherous moments. Selphie's love for trains might border on lust (maybe it's the phallic symbolism?) Quistis might have a lust for being top SeeD, or had. Does Squall actually have a lust for something other than a whack load of belts and black leather?

However you dish out the lust, make sure it's only 100 words.

Author's Notes: Behind a cut-code for abuse (it's a slap) but it might have triggers for some.
Quistis left the family who adopted her but reasons, as far as I know, weren't given. This is one of the many that went through my head. I can see that having something like this happen, might feel as if it were a mark against her in some reason and that she would keep it close to the vest.

It ripped through her body like cat claws on curtains; she stifled the scream and fell to the dirty grated floor inches from where the still steaming Grat body lay. Her eyes felt like they were on fire.

Never had something like that happened before. Quickly standing she moved into a somewhat safer area and quickly assessed what she had done differently as of late.

The only thing she could think of was the discarded Blue Magic tome that sat on her bedside table.

Until she knew what happened for certainty, she wouldn't speak a word about this to anyone.

Everyone has one. Sometimes, you have more than one. It can be something heartbreaking or horrific or something so filled with joy that just holding that knowledge makes you want to burst. Maybe that secret can't be shared until a certain time or date, or maybe it's one you want to bury in the deepest darkest corner of a closet somewhere. Or maybe, if the secret came out, you realize that its not that bad and things will be okay or that there is someone else who has that same secret.
