She sat beside him on his ratty couch. He poured her another glass of wine and silence and time stretched on.

It was the same, every week's end. She stopped at his place, he'd make dinner and they'd maybe watch a movie and snuggle.

It was almost always 1am when they decided to call their evening to an end.

Seifer leaned in and gave her a kiss to the cheek and handed her an envelope that contained her fee.

"Why do you do this?"
"I have no one."
"...nobody?"
"No. They left me long ago."
"...oh."
"See you next week?"

The information gathered was good and it was double checked. They had found Seifer Almasy and Quisits was the one sent to talk to him.

She intercepted the regular woman, who almost complained until she was handed double the amount of money she'd normally get from an evening with Seifer. This made her cautious.

"Who are you?"
"A friend of his." Quistis glanced at his door.
"He said they left him. Doesn't have anyone."

She blinked in surprise as the other walked away. Did he really think that? Feel that they left him? One way to find out.
