Bastian had been looking forward to her trip to Las Vegas for almost three weeks now and they were finally going to make tracks this afternoon. She'd packed a bag the night before and as always, was fully prepared. She smiled faintly as she made her way to Meeghan's apartment. Neely had lent her her new car, which meant that she trusted the two of them to NOT have sex in it (a thought which made Bastian smirk, admittedly), so they'd be driving.

She knocked on the other woman's door, before stuffing her hands into the back pockets of her jeans. For someone who hardly ever showed emotion around people, she was clearly excited by this.

As it was a beautiful day outside, with the sun shining and no rain on the horizon, Julian Lasher decided to take his time before heading home. Why? Well... home wasn't exactly his favorite place to be. Too many reminders of what he really was. So now that school was over for the day? The young warlock was laying underneath a tree in the vast schoolyard, enjoying a book. Today? It was a copy of Stephen King's "The Stand". So... he was reading as many things about the Antichrist and the end of the world as he could, ok? Some of them had to have some validity SOMEWHERE.
