Plague Numero Dos

[info]jesschars
[info]btvsal
Who: Frank OT Anyone
Where: Jolt! Coffee Shop (Chloe's isn't open this late, I believe)
When: About three a.m., Wednesday Morning, 4/14

It had been another long night in the ER for Frank. So, to make sure that he didn't crash into a telephone pole on his way home, his first stop was the 24 hour coffee shot, Jolt! Coffee. Sure, Chloe's Sugar Shack had better coffee, but he wasn't sure if the place was open so late. So, he would have to settle for a slightly lower product for the fact that he could get it on his own time.

He had just walked into the shop when he heard the barista gasp and point outside. He turned around to see that frogs were starting to fall from the sky. Well, this was certainly interesting. First the water turned to blood a few months ago and now it's raining frogs.

Frank himself actually walked up to the window and watched as the frogs came falling to the ground. This wasn't a good thing. The only person he knew that would know something about this was either Carly or Liz. He wondered if a call would be in order to them at this moment.

Meeting Mother

[info]lawyerbrat
[info]btvsal
Who: Lilah and Vikki
Where: Eden
When: Tuesday Night, 4/13

The two of them meeting had actually taken a little while, and more than a little convincing on Lindsey's part that yes, he was serious, no, he wasn't kidding, and yes, now they had the greatness of having a future kid as well. From some form of future, it seemed, because their own time line had already went off track from when these kids had shown up from, it seemed. So, who knew if, in this reality, she would really be born.

Of course, it made a part of her just want to tempt that, since it wouldn't *actually* affect her at all. She probably shouldn't, though. Instead, she waited for her mother to show up for their set up meeting, stirring the straw around in her drink as she waited.

Who: Jon Marrok and Ash Marrok
Where: Angeles National Forest
When: The morning after this incident.

Ash:The first thing that came to Ash's mind was the aching all over his body. The stinging of dirt in his still bleeding wounds. He groaned and rolled over to his back, eyes opening up to sunlight beaming down through the trees. He squinted them again and lifted dirty hands to rub at them before attempting to see once more. "Jon?" He croaked, sitting up with a wince and looking down at his body. He had scrapes, bruises and cuts, even a bite on his shoulder although it wasn't very deep. He hurt all over and panic was starting to creep in because he didn't see his brother in the near vicinity. "Jon?!" He called again, louder.

Wrong Place, Wrong Time

[info]jonmarrok
[info]btvsal
Who: Jon Marrok, Ash Marrok, & Quinn Draper
Where: Angeles National Forest
When: Last Full Moon

Quinn: Although Quinn worried constantly during his human moments leading up to the full moon that his magical and physical restraints would hold or not, he wasn't too worried about it at the same time. The double inlaid circle on his basement floor, with it's strange flourishes and whorls between the inner and outer circle had held up...until now. The packless wolf hadn't foreseen the possibility that a freak thunderstorm could mess up the best laid plans. Whatever had happened outside affected the power in Quinn's entire neighborhood and not only that, but whatever the circumstances that brought on the power loss...had messed with the magic containing the rage filled wolf he became during the full moon. It had been a shock when he launched himself at the invisible barrier...to sail right through it! Instincts told Quinn that something was wrong and made a beeline up his stairs and found the silver lined down...blessedly open! The cursed wolf wasted no time slipping out the door and into the night.

[info]btvsal
WHO; Xander OT Janie
WHEN: Thursday afternoon
WHERE: Xander and Janie's apartment

Xander had had a long, increasingly-awkward conversation with Lynn the other day. He'd been trying to digest the gist of the conversation since then.

What it all boiled down to was that, at some point in the near future, he and Janie would have the sex, and the result of having the sex would be having the Lynn.

As to when and how this would come about, he didn't really know, and Lynn couldn't have answered most of that any way. And he certainly didn't want to hear about that from his daughter even if she could ... She could have told him the date it would happen, but Xander had been too dumbfounded at the time to ask, and too busy avoiding the hell out of Lynn since then to bring it up again.

The hard part was knowing that Janie would have to know about this. Otherwise, future-Lynn was bound to blurt it out at the dinner table in fifteen or sixteen years and thereby put Xander in the doghouse.

On the other hand, it gave him fifteen or sixteen years to tell her, "Oh, by the way, I knew we'd have a daughter, and I might have accidentally not-quite flirted with her at Chloe's one night."

Xander knew he'd just have to bite the bullet and let Janie know what was what.

What he didn't know was why anybody woudl bite a bullet. It just sounded like an incredibly bad and painful thing to do.

He bought dinner for him and Janie and set the table in their small, cozy apartment, with its nasty orange carpet (mostly covered by dark rugs, now), and waited for her to get home.

Movie Night

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Shiloh and Brennan
Where: Brennan's apartment
When: Thursday evening, April 15th

With a six pack and box of microwave popcorn in her possession Shiloh made her way up to Brennan's apartment for a pre-arranged movie night. She had returned from her business trip the day before with one act signed, sealed and delivered to Grant Kellerman for Full Moon Records. The other, a guy who was as punk rockish as his music, was left to continue to consider things. Shiloh could have gotten his John Hancock on the dotted line, but that was a line she wasn't willing to cross.

Reaching the door of Brennan Bale's door, Shiloh knocked softly and waited for the man to answer.

Because really. What Chloe needs is MORE sugar.

[info]btvsal
Who: Chloe, open to Lexi
Where: Chloe's Sugar Shack
When: Thursday evening

There are a lot of things that people would say Chloe Van Warren needs. Sedatives tend to top that list. But on the list of things she DOESN'T need? There are things that pop right to mind: more money, more bands... but the one thing she REALLY doesn't need? More sugar.

So to see her sitting in her own shop, with not one, but TWO giant Sugar Fairy Shooters sitting in front of her? Jesus. Her feet were kicking back and forth and a HUGE grin was threatening to split her pretty face in half as she looked across the table at her bestest friend.

"I am sooooooooooo freakin' happy right now, Lex. Like, to where I could just jump up and kiss EVERY PERSON IN HERE. I mean, Lucy's back, two of my best friends are each about to get married, and not even the appearance of my apparently psychotic niece from the future is gonna bring me down!"

[info]btvsal
Who: Janie OTA
When: Friday Afternoon
Where: Shooting Star Comics

Janie didn't officially work at the comic store, but she seemed to be there more than some employees. Today, she went from quietly freaking out to moping. A heavy, heavy sigh would be followed by pacing, and dusting. If a customer was in, she welcomed the break from her angst and pretended to be an employee.

Right now, it was quiet. She sighed, and stared at the dolls on display.

"Aragorn, you're handsome and your significant other gave up eternity for you. You never had to worry about what we do."

And another sigh.
