Well, I gotta say that I'm surprised that the winter break has finished already. It was a nice one and one that was completely explosion free. My parents were quite happy for that fact. They were no so happy about the tea kettle that is now here and part of the family though. My father has banned me from creating illegal life forms again. The ministry though was rather impressed with my findings, at least the members I spoke to before the attack.

Ravenclaw Quidditch team, I hope you've been practicing! We need to be in tip top shape to win the rest of the season. I would also like to announce that I might have found us a new seeker.

So apparently all this effort in staying out of trouble and hoping things would go better was a fucking joke, but you can't say I didn't try.  I'm done with keeping my head down and acting like everything is okay for the sake of obedience.  It's clear certain individuals and their families have a specific interest in what has happened, and fuck you if you don't think I'm not calling y'all out on it.  Fuck you for expecting us to overlook the tragedies and threats to spare your shitty fucking privileged feelings.  Boo hoo people are upset that your relatives are racists and are now in power.  Fucking bite me. 

You want my congratulations?  Here it is.  You purebloods can keep you goddamn shitty ass society, I want no part in this mess.  Y'all have a delightful new year, see you never, because if you think I'm returning to the school come January you're fucking mistaken.  I'm going to go live on a mountain top where I never have to see you assholes again.  Peace on earth and all that bullshit.

Well we're going into November and it's almost the end of the semester. How had this year gone by so fast? It's kind of hard to believe! I'm starting to think that I don't want the school year to end. Though Quidditch is starting this weekend and I want to tell both teams good luck. I'm sure it'll be an amazing game to watch!

Lab work has been interesting though. I have a few good experiments that I'm working hard on.

Interrupting everyone's otherwise pleasant breakfast is the mail, which normally is a pleasant affair. However, on this day, a red, angrily thrashing envelope is clenched in the claws of a grey owl as it flies through the air, swooping in front of one Michael Meru and dropping it in front of him, narrowly avoiding his food, then flies off to perch on R's shoulder and steal his bacon. The longer the envelope is sealed the more it shakes. Better open it!

Upon the seal being broken, a burst of angry French sounds throughout the hall, before the speaker manages to compose himself and switch to English:

MICHAEL. MERU.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT I FOUND IN MY BED LAST NIGHT?

It is the privilege of men to be wanted and prized for what they can do, create, achieve. Women, through time, are prized for being pretty, petite, pliable, and submissive. We are recognized not for who we are, how smart we are, how powerful we are, but for what designers we wear and who we have married. It is enough to make me wonder sometimes how I, and those around me, will fit in the world where intelligent and capable women are so often put down, negated, spoken over and ignored. The top of the chain is white, male, heterosexual and cisgender. Where is the place for the rest of us, and when will intelligence be enough?

In the same vein, when will it be okay for males to be weak? Why can they not show real emotion without being labeled and ignored? Why can we just not all find an accord?


Sexy Halloween costumes just continue this oppression - seeking attention for our bodies and not our minds. I hope some outside of me will seek out more unique and interesting themes than sexy animals and such. We are so much more.

So, I suppose enough folks have laid eyes on me by now that it's time to cough up some answers.

Yes, I am much bigger than I used to be. No, I don't get sick or hurt the way I used to. Also no, I didn't do this to myself on purpose. As some of you may know I was held by some bad people last year, and some of the things they did to me led to these changes. I am glad I'm not as much of a burden as I used to be, but I also lost my best friend to those people. I would trade it all just to get him back.

I'm not really a fan of talking about it all, and I do have panic attacks from time to time. My therapy dog, Vincent, will be with me during classes and although I don't mind if people pet him, please don't pick him up or take him anywhere. He's technically supposed to be working, and I had to get special permission from the Headmaster to have him with me.

Alright Hogwarts, Michael Meru here. I figured that as Head boy, I should probably say hi and remind everyone that the new semester is a chance to be who you really want to be and succeed. It's a new year after all and a new start! The regular school rules apply as always. Curfew will be enforced by prefects and teachers. The forbidden forest is always forbidden. (Especially to all the magical creatures fans.) And if you see smoke coming from the eastern corridor on the third floor, please just ignore it. It will go away quickly.

Now for Ravenclaws! Quidditch tryouts are this Friday. Remember, we're going to win this season and best of all, we're going to beat Gryffindor. So let's get some fresh blood out there and eager to play, right?

Also, I just want to remind people that should they wish to find me for my birthday tomorrow. I will not be in the lab. I know how much that pissed everyone off last year.

It's National Dog Day! It should be a world wide holiday. So of course I have to post pictures of Batman. I know everyone wants to see him.




He sleeps so deeply he is dead to the world.

Ankle is healing up though the doctor wants me to stay off of it as much as possible. Apparently after I used it I was on it to much.

I'm suppose to use crutches until it doesn't hurt to walk and do rehab so the ligaments and muscles don't become atrophy. I think I might just skip the crutches and use a cane.

Anyway. I should have invented these. Who invented these? Who funded these? I want to poach them for Stark Industries. Why didn’t we commission something like this? I'm alive and kicking. Well I can kick one leg. The other is sprained. The ankle is sprained. Not the leg. Which magic really can't fix so I'm off of my leg for a couple of days.
