This place finds new and creative ways to keep me in a constant state of annoyance. It's not even the glitter itself, but the constant bitching about it all day. I don't like it either, but you'd think people were fucking dying from a few sparkles in their hair.

So I need ideas for this costume thing coming up. Preferably something cheap or easy DIY. Don't got a whole lot to work with here.

I am finding myself very anxious for Hogsmeade. While I have gotten a number of new books for my time here, I seem to have finished many of them and I would like to make sure I do not run out of new things to read. I am working on a list of titles I have overheard recommended within my house and if anyone has any other suggestions, I would be glad to hear them.

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK. Oh my god, our room now looks like pigeons popped some molly, then proceeded to have a dance party all over the fucking place.

I'm literally covered in every feather there ever has been.

It's like a pillow fight happened, except it wasn't sexy, it wasn't in underwear, and there were NO women involved. Just massacring precious sleeping instruments, and disrupting my me time.

All because Jackson had to pick now to have his most recent mental breakdown.

I have been following muggle news, as always, and I am feeling a rather overwhelming bit of joy at the start toward removing elected officials that would go against equality and happiness. While I have not ever even considered the possibility of love for myself outside of books, I believe that it should be denied to no one so long as they are legal and consenting. Why should one couple be treated any different than another if they are of age and in love?

On another note, I love that we have gotten right into work in all of our classes. It has been a long summer without magic.

It looks like I've got the all clear from doctors and psychiatrists to re-enter the real world, so I'm back to Hogwarts this year. I'm looking forward to it. Drawing and wandering around the hospital grounds has gotten pretty boring, and I really want to finish up my last year before I'm older than the Professors.

It will be different, of course. Without Buck. I'm different. Well, I guess we'll all figure things out together when I'm back at school.

I nearly chickened out and decided to stay in hospital last night. They tried to keep the papers away from me, but everyone was talking about the attack, and then the nightmares and panic attacks came back. I thought it was all over. I guess I was wrong. Ma would've wanted me to go back to school though, and I'm no chicken.

I broke my hand on a stupid Death Eater's stupid face and I can't do anything with it. I never realized how clumsy my left hand is until now. It feels like I'm trying to do everything backwards. How do people do this all the time. Does it just feel normal for them? This is dumb.

At least I don't have to stay with my mother My daddy hasn't let me out of the house since he heard about what happened in the newspaper. I think he's mad because I just told him that I got into a fight and not about the whole Death Eater attack thing. It wasn't entirely wrong and I didn't want him to worry, but now he is anyway. If they're going to find me in Reliance then they deserve to find me, honestly. I can barely find me here.

I am so devastated to learn and hear about all of the tragedy that occurred on Saturday at what is supposed to be a fun, family-oriented event that helps build friendships, lives, and memories. No one deserves what happened on Saturday, it's gross, disgusting, and painful to even know that such people can let it happen. I'm so, so sorry to all of you that were there.

My thoughts are with you, and your families, as well as all those affected by this tragic event.

Just know that I do love all of you, some of you I only know as students, and I know I'm a teacher now so it makes sense, but a lot of you I knew in school too. Or I knew a sibling. We're all a family here at Hogwarts, and I look at so many of you as friends and call you friends.

I hope all of you are okay, if any of you need anything, I'm currently mixing up large batches of Potions, healing, sleeping, and pain. If you need anything, ANYTHING, my place is open, my journal's always open, and I'll do whatever I can to talk, listen, take a punishment, whatever you need to move forward. And the potions I'm making are free to everyone, and there're no limits on them.

So summer was eventful. Paris, Milan, Hawaii, and then we finished off in Indonesia. Returned home to an amazing party (excellent, as always, Sera) and now the world cup this weekend to finish off an amazing summer. Pity that the summer is coming to an end though.

I've decided to conduct an experiment. In order to proceed, I'm going to need a volunteer.

In order to distinguish and understand the benefits and downfalls of a relationship, I think I should do two things.

1. Speak with people who have been in various types of relationships and can clearly analyze them to form a stronger hypothesis.
2. Find a willing volunteer to date me so that I can have inside knowledge on one of the relationships I know nothing about first hand.

Ultimately I want to be able to accurately categorize the benefits and disadvantages to relationships.

With every passing day of summer, we draw closer to another school year. I feel that it's important then to embrace the warm weather and freedom that we have for now by celebrating. So after gathering my father's acceptance, I have decided to have a pool party next weekend.
