I'm finding it hard to decide if it's a good idea to go back to school already because of the attack on the ministry. Dangerous things keep happening, and we may just be safer at home with our families, rather than at the school where one student has already died. My father says that this is reminiscent of some of the things that happened the last time Nyx appeared. We must be vigilant

Ravenclaws we will do better next time. We aren't out of the running just yet. We can still kick but and beat Gryffindor and Slytherin. Good game Hufflepuff but the Cup will be ours.

Only five more days of classes left, a Hogsmeade trip, and then its the holidays and my birthday. I can't wait for a little break from NEWTs preparation and more time with my brother. We've decided that we are going to be staying at the school instead of going home this year. Who else is going to be staying? Who is all going home? What are some of your traditions that you are looking forward to?

Well my rumour continued to be about sex or boys or both. I'm not at all surprised. They need to come up with something original. I'm more concerned about the hurtful rumours that others seemed to get. Unless stated otherwise please don't believe anything that is in the Scribbler. It is full of hate and they are just looking for attention or to cause drama or something.

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Any interesting stories? Is the train ride still as long and boring as it always is as everyone returning home would be on it right now.

I am for one grateful that the magic is back and I realize how much I am looking forward to never being without it again. Christmas can not come soon enough. Apollo and Artemis are back in the castle and doing much better. Calcifer of course noticed nothing different. Silly cat.

Two days and it still hasn't been fixed. Still no magic. It wouldn't be so bad really but I can't change anymore. Magic with a wand I've learned over the years. But my morphing ability I've had since birth. It's part of who I am. To lose it is like losing a limb in a way (No offense Bucky). I'm just ready for this stupid mishap to be over.

I'm torn between "This is annoying" and "Oh, look! More reasons to sit around and generally do nothing."

I mean, can I really complain about something that means I can't do all the practical stuff? Not that Herbology always needs something to keep it all moving, but I could do that homework with my eyes partially closed, but not really because it'd turn into a mess if I did that, wouldn't it? Barely legible as it is. I doubt I'd need the help.

They couldn't even owl me personally to inform me that they've chosen someone for me. It was through an assistant of theirs. Too bad I'm not accepting this situation. The more they dig their claws in, the more I think about just how much better my life would be if I went with being disowned and disinherited. It's looking more and more like the best option.

I think I'm finally hearing normal again after both the ear piercing scream yesterday morning and the howler at breakfast. No more ringing.

I'd like some opinions and perhaps suggestions... I'm considering taking on a new surname after graduation. Seeing as how I'll be disowned then, I figure I should start the paperwork with the Ministry soon. I was thinking maybe Aubrey Maines or Aubrey McCullum. What about Aubrey Peterson?

I got goodies in the mail! My grandparents have come here from Tokyo to visit my brothers and sister in law and plan on staying until my little niece or nephew is born. She's not due until next month but Baba says this gives her a chance to help Catherine get everything ready. And they don't come to America often so when they stay it's for a little while. They'll be here until after the new year so I'll get to see them for winter break.

So this morning I get a huge box filled to the brim with all sorts of treats and junk food from them. This one may take me a while to finish...

So I'm not actually sure how anyone could believe I'm pregnant. I don't think I've gained any weight and I wouldn't have kids while still in school. It's important for me to finish and I'm quite certain that it's important to Atticus that I finish school too. Afterwords we'll talk about kids someday though.

Beyond that though, halloween is coming up quick as can be and since a few people put up some music videos, I felt it would be fun to put up one of my flute rehersal pieces.

Oh, apparently I haven't done a good enough job at not existing to get an honorable mention in the Scribbler.  I was hoping I'd make it to at least after the holidays before anyone picked up on my nonexistence.  So glad to find out I don't have a secret child with a professor who is actually a werewolf and we're both cheating on each other with half the school, at least.  Sure is fun to read about when it's not yourself.

It's not wrong though, Rhi really does eat too much cake.  The other things, I shall not comment upon.
