It isn't unusual for me to be in the stands watching Quidditch when Ravenclaw is playing... but not when Slytherin is also playing. It was harder than expected. Everyone played great, but and it was nice to see my teammates get the victory after what happened in our first game of the year.

It seems like I'm in the minority when I say that I'm not looking forward to going back to school tomorrow. I really enjoyed my break. I like having the internet and a computer and learning how to drive Roscoe. We had friends staying with us and it was fun having a full house. I don't think dad wants us to go either.

It's going to suck going back even if it means I get my magic back. Muggle technology > Magic. I'll fight you on this.

But I did get a keepsake when Isaac came for Christmas and Professor Hale tagged along.

Well, I gotta say that I'm surprised that the winter break has finished already. It was a nice one and one that was completely explosion free. My parents were quite happy for that fact. They were no so happy about the tea kettle that is now here and part of the family though. My father has banned me from creating illegal life forms again. The ministry though was rather impressed with my findings, at least the members I spoke to before the attack.

Ravenclaw Quidditch team, I hope you've been practicing! We need to be in tip top shape to win the rest of the season. I would also like to announce that I might have found us a new seeker.

Finally back out and feeling better! Looks like I managed to catch the flu right when we got out of school. which made my seizures worse Got stuck a few days in Saint Mungos. Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes and more. It was very nice day. woke up with Jackson and will probably go to bed with him. It spent the day with friends and family which was really pleasant. It is always awkward having a birthday so near the holiday, but even so Mom and Dad gave me some new clothes and Wallace even remembered to owl. We all had dinner at a restaurant near the Gallery which was really good. They had this chocolate dessert that was indescribable.

I was flying on the back of a Raven like riding a horse... or a broom... flying among the clouds. It was raining and snowing but the moon was out and the clouds weren't blocking the moon from shining down.

Magic is back! Wonderful beautiful magic! I didn't break the magic for forever. There is a god. It came back in time for Dad's owl to arrive telling me he has to work Thanksgiving so I'm on the fence on whether I will go home or not as it is just me and him.

And yes, anytime the tablets opened up, short of muting everything, they played. And they played all the time.-

The weekend without magic actually gave me a ton of time to work on carving out new wands. I'm finding that (from what my uncle tells me) the people that get my work enjoy the intricate decorations. Vinewood carved with actual vines, cherry blossoms on my newest cherry wand. They'll need cores, obviously, but I'll do that over break. They'll need some time to tell me which they should have.

Well we're going into November and it's almost the end of the semester. How had this year gone by so fast? It's kind of hard to believe! I'm starting to think that I don't want the school year to end. Though Quidditch is starting this weekend and I want to tell both teams good luck. I'm sure it'll be an amazing game to watch!

Lab work has been interesting though. I have a few good experiments that I'm working hard on.

Back during my school days we had to pass notes the old fashioned way- uphill both ways in the snow.  Good to give the owls a bit of a rest, isn't it. 

I probably should have introduced myself before my first round of classes, but my office was a bit of a mess and needed sorting out.  So I apologize for that oversight.  My name is Quincy Boothroyd, and I'll be your new History of Magic professor.  I'm aware it's not the most exciting subject for many of you, but do get plenty of rest the night before because I do not tolerate napping.
