Batman is purple. My dog is purple. I decided to give him a bath because he has been shedding like crazy and everything seemed to be fine until I started to dry him AND HE TURNED PURPLE. I would be made if this wasn't so damn amusing.

Sort of glad it is my dog and not me. I just can't rock purple.

Alright, it's almost time for the first quidditch game of the season! I gotta admit that I'm pretty hyped. Gryffindor house, I'm expecting you guys to be out in force to cheer us on while we prove to Slytherin just who's the better team!

Quidditch team, I do hope you all dont think you're going to have much of a life before the game though. We're running drills and practices all week. We gotta keep up last year's streak come hell or high water!

This is a school of idiots, based on the number of people who complain about being attacked by these things. But then, there are few of sufficient blood not to be diminished to some degree.

Guys, I just woke up to get ready for the day and I realized something; we have not planned anything for Halloween. What is this nonsense? Do you have your costumes yet? We are Slytherin, we cannot just dress cheap clothes and sneak in firewhiskey like a couple of muggle college students. I have seen how those turn out, and for one I do not want vomit all over the common room floor, or worse still; trashily dressed snakes parading the halls.

I have already found my costume. I bought it for my birthday which was almost a costume party, and then it was not. I am only showing you to prevent anyone from dressing the same. Though I highly doubt magical bunny girl is being sought after by anyone else in our house.

I can acquire sake, if anyone has the palette for it.

Even greater shame that I wasn't there to see him fall. Father told me it might be 'an eventful year' but so far I haven't had a single chance to get my hands dirty. If anything, this year is monotonous.

The game was awesome, until the fucking death eaters came. Bella and I are doing fine, not much damage. Just a little shook up. I can only be thankful that my lovely fiancé was not among the people at the game. Yes, you read right. I am engaged to Ophelia Sinclair. I. I am still getting to know her, so if you see us together: don't interrupt.

I don't know who the woman was, but she had brown hair. She fought back - disarmed one of the Deatheaters attacking her. Father. He didn't need his wand though; his hands were around her neck and then all I see are the shadows and the ravens.

I've had this dream before. I saw nothing new this time. Just the same scene, the same faces. And always the shadows.

With every passing day of summer, we draw closer to another school year. I feel that it's important then to embrace the warm weather and freedom that we have for now by celebrating. So after gathering my father's acceptance, I have decided to have a pool party next weekend.
As much as I dislike some of you, the party will be open to all. I hope to see everyone there!

I love journals! I'm so excited to have one to keep in contact with all of you beautiful people! I had tons of handwritten journals growing up, but these kind seem way cooler.

I hope everyone is having a super-duper-mega-awesome summer! Mine is EXCELLENT so far! I celebrated my birthday recently with my mom and dad; we went to a really delicious Chinese place and they bought me a really cool case for my guitar, some new clothes, and they gave me some extra pocket money for when I go off to school. They're so great! I LOVE them!
