Welp, I managed to finish Abacus's Halloween costume today. It's amazing what a person can do with felt when given a chance. I saw a pretty picture of this gorgeous lion and got inspired. Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to go as. Maybe I should do a lion as well or something else fun. I always end up picking two costumes though because I can never decide what I am until the day of. Bahhhh.

With the weather changing and new restrictions in place I've decided to move the Archery and Stick Fighting clubs inside. I've found a long storage room on the fourth floor that the Headmaster has allowed me to clean up and use for practice. Yes, I know a lot of you are tired of being stuck inside but one wall is all windows and it will be a lot warmer to practice inside than outside soon enough.

So starting next week we will be inside. If anyone wants extra practice please talk to me. With what happened I'm more than happy to work with you.

Good morning students. I haven't had the privilege of 'teaching' all of you yet but that will quickly be fixed this coming week.

Thanks to Headmaster Emrys and Professor Wallace I'm being allowed to teach anyone who is interested in archery and stick fighting. Archery will start on Mondays, after classes, and stick fighting will take place on Thursdays after class. If you don't know if you're interested or not please ask questions or come to a class or two to see what it's about.



This is only a glimpse of what stick fighting looks like. I have a whole box of tapes of work outs and practice 'fights' not that we have anything at Hogwarts that is able to play them. Beginners will start of a lot slower than what is happening in this clip.

Pretty sure when I was a student, people said the same thing about Michael Meru they said about me. Gossip never fails to be completely bizarre and wrong.

It took my a couple of days and a lot of greasing palms but I found out the names of who died in the attack. I won't list them out of respect to the families but I knew my fellow staff members and students would like to know that no one from Hogwarts was killed.

The majority of deaths were adults. There was someone from Merlin Academy. ...and two young souls that hadn't reach the age of eleven yet.

I know there is a memorial site that started yesterday at the quidditch pitch that is in Marble City due to the one that the Quidditch World Cup is still off limits because investigations. You can go there to pay your respects if you feel like you need to.

I broke my hand on a stupid Death Eater's stupid face and I can't do anything with it. I never realized how clumsy my left hand is until now. It feels like I'm trying to do everything backwards. How do people do this all the time. Does it just feel normal for them? This is dumb.

At least I don't have to stay with my mother My daddy hasn't let me out of the house since he heard about what happened in the newspaper. I think he's mad because I just told him that I got into a fight and not about the whole Death Eater attack thing. It wasn't entirely wrong and I didn't want him to worry, but now he is anyway. If they're going to find me in Reliance then they deserve to find me, honestly. I can barely find me here.

I am here. I am awesome. I do not know how you got through the last month without me. Well, clearly no one did, since I'm working on clean up after everything at the cup. Can I put it on record that whoever wrote the BMA- I mean, USA Today article is an idiot? Just think it needs to be said.

Anyway. I should have invented these. Who invented these? Who funded these? I want to poach them for Stark Industries. Why didn’t we commission something like this? I think I need to buy out the company, honestly, just for the testing I can do on this thing. I want to take it apart to figure out how it works. This is an excellent bit of techno-magic. The partial sentience was a nice touch. I know I can improve the technology. Bruce? Can we get on claiming this now?

I was out gardening today when one of the neighbor's children came running with the largest rabbit I had ever seen in her arms. Apparently the little big thing had a hurt paw. I promised the girl that I would take care of it and feed it. I managed to get a photo before she handed her over to me.




It's so sweet and docile, so Hunter, if you're wondering why there is a gigantic rabbit in the kitchen eating carrots out of a cat bowl, that would be Loppy. Can we keep her?

So I just received this... journal today with a note that said I should use it. Well if the Headmaster is telling me to use it than I should use it right?

I'm Luke Barrons and I'm Hogwarts new Transfiguration TA. Congrats to me? I didn't actually go to Hogwarts. I went to the Merlin Academy so this will be my first time going to the 'great' castle. Do I get to be sorted in a house as well? Merlin didn't have houses but than it was an all boys school so we didn't have girls either.

Come the new school year you will see a couple more clubs open to you as I plan to start an archery club and maybe free stick fighting if the Headmaster approves it.

I have four cats with one the size of a labrador. If you spot her around the school come September don't be scared. She is quite friendly.
