John had showered and changed his clothes up in his room, before heading out from the hotel in search of some fresh air to clear his head a little. He walked out towards the edge of town, not really noticing which way he was headed.

A lot on his mind, he found a small cafe out in the middle of nowhere. He sat down outside, ordered a large plate of pastries and doughnuts, and started poking at them disinterestedly when they arrived. He sighed, and sprawled across his chair, starting to pick at his nails with his blade when he saw a figure approaching.

The hotel door opened and a small, blonde girl wearing a long, white nightdress and clutching a big doll in 18th century costume stepped through into the lobby.

She looked around in surprise.

"Oh! Where's my bedroom gone?"
