The Doctor had found a pub with a pool table and was amusing himself trying to pot balls at random.

He wasn't very good at it. His latest attempt sent a ball flying off the table and halfway across the floor.

The Master wandered along the main street, idly contemplating plans for the party he and the other Master had talked about throwing for the residents of the town. It was something to keep his mind occupied until he could find the Doctor and get rid of the drums.

What he really needed was a party shop, with decorations and balloons and party poppers and things.

Like... that one up ahead, maybe. He walked up and gazed into the window.

Becky's Jack

Leaving Adric to think over what they'd been talking about, the Master ambled down the street, looking for all the world like a man just out for an afternoon stroll. Well, perhaps a wealthy and a bit arrogant man, but nevertheless, trying his best to look like he was harmless. He glanced at various buildings around him, cataloguing them. Shops, a handful of office buildings, some open spaces with greenery. Some pubs, what gave the appearence of a club, a coffee-house that he made a note to return to later for further examination. A library further along, and a hotel.

All in all, rather a bland place so far. He stepped into the hotel, looking around the lobby, his lips twitching at the decor. Not a place that would be expensive, if he had to pay for it. And somehow, if this place was outside of space and time, he doubted he would have to. Not that he had any intention of doing so, even if they wanted some form of payment.

Ah, and there was who he was looking for. He smiled, the expression lighting up his eyes with a dangerous glint. "Jack Harkness. What a delightful surprise to find you here."

Lis's Master

Adric had been initially shocked when the Master had just left him sitting there. No more threats, no injuries, he'd come out of it unscathed. Well, mostly. He certainly had a lot more on his mind now than he wished to. Standing, Adric crossed over to one of the trash bins, dumping the rest of the unfinished breakfast into them before turning on his heel and heading out of the cafe. He need to try and sort through some of this stuff before the doubt settled.

She scanned through a few more shelves randomly, waiting for something to catch her eye, when she discovered a fairly recent translation of The Illiad and, recognising it, began to giggle. Then she was struck by the thought that she'd look very odd if anyone saw her randomly giggling at a book not renowned for its humour, and quickly glanced around to see if anyone had seen her. She wasn't in luck.

Technically, technically, Theta was not breaking any rules at this particular moment. That was, however, due to the absolutely unexpected event of not being in his dormitory at all. If he wasn't in the dormitory then he wasn't out of bed in the dormitory and no one could prove he'd gotten out of bed. He could have been swept out of his bed by a time wind! A time wind in the heart of the city, imagine that!

Theta peered around a corner into the lobby of the hotel, planning what he was going to say.
