*in the meantime, busies himself practising smashing up targets and the occasional meatier-than-most peasants with his hammer and occasionally reading up on history in the library*

*is determined to be the most competent minion his grandfather's ever had*

*which shouldn't be too hard all things considered*

*is more than a little envious of her brother's big promotion, as well as the power and wealth that will probably bring with it*

*particularly the wealth aspect of it all*

*marches around the stronghold restlessly with a desperate craving for BBQ sauce, sporadically belching the odd jet of flames at the ankles of anyone who gets too close to her*

*decides that today is quite possibly the best day of his life thus far*

*swaggers around his grandfather's stronghold, radiating smugness while pondering just how much shiny, shiny treasure he'll be able to get his talons on as Morgoth's new Herald*


*figures this deserves some kind of celebration and goes off in search of a bottle of champagne*

*leaves the Palace and manifests in His throne room at Angband*

*inhales deeply, stretching His new body and savoring the moment*

*casts His Music out in a wide net and broadcasts to include all minions, lackeys, children, grandchildren, accountants and janitors*

*goes into town and fails to find anything bigger than the standard bottle seen on tables*

*obtains a pretty decent Melkormas haul from various bloodthirsty relatives murdering families for meals and dumping some of their Manwemas gifts with herself along with an abundance of severed heads and limbs*

*curls up on a significantly larger pile of treasure and chews on a femur contentedly... for now at least*

*hates the cold but hates being stuck inside for long periods of time even more*

*pulls on several heavy layers of clothes before heading outside to see what amusement town has to offer and giving his mun a chance to get back in the saddle of this whole rpg-malarky*

*stops off to hypnotize some shopkeeper out of a pack of cigarettes and wanders through the park, trying to work out why the fuck everyone seems to like this snow shit*
