*checks her calendar and realises what day it is: Nimrodel's proposed family get-together.*

*Knows this means being in the same room as Amdir for a protracted length of time.*

*Pretties herself up just enough to make it look like she's put in an effort but not enough to be a knock-out.*

*Selects a bottle of wine from Elrond's cellar (a strong one) and sets out across town.*

*is fussing with her hair one morning, trying (for the eight hundredth time) to decide how she wants to wear it for the wedding* *up? down? curly? straight? veil? flowers? up and curly and veil and flowers? or is that too much?*

*finds herself wondering how Amroth would want her to wear it* *thinks she might ask his mother for ideas* :)

*from there, lets her mind wander to the seating arrangements--bride's side and groom's side? or just let everyone mingle?*

...

*GASP!*

Amroth! Baby! We have a big, big problem!

*Headed into town to find someone to handle the invitations for his up-coming wedding.*

*Found himself swamped with offers from poets, scribes, calligraphers and assorted scriviners, all trying to flog their considerable skill.*

*Flees from the ensuing deluge of paper samples, colour swatches, font lists, ribbons and sparkles.*

*Figures he might try looking for a nice suit instead.*

*That should be painless, right?*

*Takes to the main stage, on Ulmo's arm.*

*Casts a speculative glance across the assembled instruments before curtseying to the audience.*

*Becomes acutely aware of the sudden hush.*

So, what are we playing?

*Goes over to see Nimrodel just before her shift at the pub ends.*

*Has had rather a strange day.* :S

*slips out at the end of the wedding to make sure that everything is in place for the reception*

*has arranged for a marquee to be erected in a nearby cove, complete with a bar at one end, manned by various staff members from the pub*

*oh, and mini-pizzas*
