Melkor? I think we need to talk. Now.

EDIT: *Has a singed couple of ainur in his throne room.*

Eönwë? Tilion? They're home.

*Returns to Ilmarin having failed to receive any word of Suraya or Arien.*

*Heads up to the war room to see if they've had any luck through other channels.*

*Takes the glum faces gathered around as an emphatic "no."*

*manifested to her husband's side the very instant she heard word of her daughter's disappearance, and hasn't strayed far from that spot since*

*consequently, finds herself lingering (pacing) in quiet corners of the war room at Ilmarin, trying to keep out of the way (because this isn't her place) but unable to bear the thought of going home (because she can't hear the sweet little Song that makes it a home)*

*keeps returning to the same adjacent balcony to stare in the direction of far-off Angband, her gaze both distant and withdrawn* *instinctively knows that if she gives vent to the agony (my baby, my only, how dare he) churning in her heart, it will bring a summer storm so violent as to tear Melkor's fortress down to its roots* *is a little frightened, both by the knowledge that she could and the not-quite knowledge that she would, except--*

*inhales slowly and lets it out, swallowing hard* *exerts all of her focus to keep the skies clear, knowing that without the Sun, the Kindreds might at least draw some comfort from the stars*

*spends the day tallying up the Spring crops while Eönwë's at Ilmarin*

*while listening to Suraya catch her up on all the Eagles' business in between explanations of how to stay close to mummy even when you're disembodied* :)

*doesn't like the look on her husband's face when he gets back* :s

*descends from the skies after a quick patrol to make sure everything is running smoothly*

*knocks on the doors of Erinti's rooms* *baby sister's first Music Festival, yay!*

Daddy can't decide which tie to wear, Nornorë appears to be screeching at Amillo to get out of the bathroom, Suraya is playing Hide 'n' Seek with her father and I think I saw Amillo's Quendë propping up a corridor outside the bathroom. You're okay, though, right?

*arrives back at Ilmarin from the Ring of Doom, intending to grab a snack before hitting the night skies*

*can't help but notice that the kitchens seem rather busy and that the kitchen-Súruli are running around frenetically*

*ventures into the good dining room and sees that the table is set* *with place-names*

*knows that this can mean only one thing: Ilmarin Family Dinner*

*wonders if she can demanifests skywards before anyone notices*

*Arrives at the Ring of Doom so he can get the latest meeting underway.*

*Manifests in time to catch Ulmo and Erinti in mid-conflab, looking for all the world like they're conspiring about something.* ¬_¬

*Settles down in his throne and gives the agenda a last look over.*
