It's quite the lovely Island you've got here, love what you've done with the... palm trees. Very free form. I suppose hoping for a fully stocked bar is asking too much. That's fine, we'll work on it.

In the mean time, I am Tony Stark, most of you probably know me. If you don't, you will. It's a pleasure to meet all of you, until it isn't, and then we'll work through it. Though I'm certain we'll all get along splendidly.

I'm blown away by how beautiful this island is. It really does feel like paradise.

Jim has already filled me in a little on how things run here, but I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and doing my part to help the community.

I woke up this morning in a bed. A real bed! And I have a beautiful clawfoot bathtub with running water and a stove that works. I feel as though I'm inching slowly closer back towards civilization. The gods must have been listening. I can think more seriously about getting pregnant now.

Now I need my own tea kettle and I'll be right as rain.

I've really been enjoying myself since I got here. It's kinda great to find a place where nobody judges you or shames you for enjoying your body.

So hey. I'm Peter Quill. Some people call me Star-Lord but not as many as I'd like. I just got here and if any of the beautiful ladies I've seen wandering around would like to give me a tour, I'd be happy to take you up on it.

I know we're supposed to be getting hot and sweaty in other ways, but how many other fighters do we have here? I could use a sparring partner. Or, you know, more than one. Variety is the spice of life or something.

This place is amazing. I guess it could have been a desert and I would have been grateful because I was aware from Central City. I should have-

I had such breakthroughs in nanotech with my company before coming here, but unfortunately I didn't bring any, they'd really help in some of this situation. I don't know why I brought it up, something to talk about I suppose.

At any rate, I think I have some rudimentary plans with the materials we have here to build solar panels for use in electricity beyond the main camp. And for backup energy when necessary. They won't be as pretty as what you're all used to, but they'll do the job. It'll take a bit to build them, especially enough to do anything worth while.

The other idea I had came about because of this storm. It just occurred to me, that we're not really well prepared for any natural disasters. Now snow wouldn't be one I would have put in my top ten for a Tropical Island so maybe we should think of a lot more than these, but my first initial thoughts were Hurricanes, Tsnuamis, and earthquakes. It's also very plausible that a volcano exists somewhere on this Island, and so I think we should come up with a plan for any of these disasters, instead of scrambling. Creating a working seismograph wouldn't be too difficult, if I had some of more tech help, you know who you are, and if we could manage to grab a computer or two. I know Chloe has one, but I figure there might be one or two more.
