In about a week, I'll be a father. I can't decide if I'm excited or scared to death. I'm going to go with a little bit of both.

I have some big news! Before she left, Lagertha taught me how to make cheese. I've been working on it and the first couple of times, it didn't turn out that well but this time I got it right so we have fresh goat cheese in the frig in the Community Center if anybody wants some. Pepper, I will personally make you a grilled goat cheese sandwich if you still want one.

Also, do any of the docs know anything about goats? One of them is acting strange. She's usually really gentle but today she tried to kick me when I went to mil her. So any ideas about why we suddenly have a bitchy goat?

Who wants fish for dinner tomorrow?

Between the snow and the baby it seems like I haven't been fishing in weeks, and I miss it. Tomorrow morning I'm going to make time for it.

Apparently the gods are happy with us again. There's a huge buffet of pizza and ice cream out here.

Anyone who wants to meet the kid should probably do that soon since Bruce and I will be giving her to Arva. The sooner the better before I get too attached

Clark Sullivan-Odair was just born about half an hour ago. He's perfect. Chloe is resting now, but doing well.

I am very nervous. The time is coming soon and yet I feel...normal. I mean, the baby is moving a lot and I can't wait to meet it but it's very frightening to think what is between right now...and finally getting to hold my daughter.

Would you like help making diapers, Pepper? I desperately need something to do with my hands. I also have been knitting a bit if anyone would be interested in blankets or socks...?

This island is unlike anywhere I've ever been.

London has its fog, all of England its rain. New York its grit and grime. Crisp and chill in the Soviet Union. A different kind of lovely in Italy.

Here, however, I've never felt air so fresh and felt a more comfortable breeze. In this moment it feels a little like I've spent the last decade working up to now, when I can close my eyes, breathe in deeply, and take a moment (finally) for myself.

Goodness, I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself.

I suppose I should be thinking about getting pregnant soon, although it's strange. Back home, it was something I always tried not to do. But the birth control here is even better than in the Capitol.

I guess we don't have to build furniture for the Community Center. I just got here to check on things and it looks like the gods are really happy with our recent progress because there is a ton of stuff here. Like, furniture and dishes and appliances. There are even toilets and stuff so when we get the water and sewage system done, we'll have a real bathroom.

Anyone want to help me build a few interior walls so we can have a separate bathroom and kitchen area? We also probably need some shelves or cabinets for storage.

Do I freak people out? I think I freak people out.

I mean, I go up and ask them for sex and half the time they run away. And I know I'm hot so that isn't it. I'm not going to eat anybody. I mean, I only disembowel rabbits, not people.

I've been making diapers and baby clothes, but I'm not sure that I have enough. I'm a little worried that we're not going to have enough in the way of cloth. It would be nice if we had sheep for spinning wool. Not for the diapers, of course, but for the clothes.

I feel like there have been a lot of people judging each other lately and I don't like it. Yes, Malia and I made a decision to allow Arva to raise our babies. That was the right decision for us for a number of reasons. That doesn't mean it's the right decision for everyone. But no one should make anyone else feel bad for their decision. Whether you want to have a baby for Arva or you want to raise your own is up to you and your partner and everyone should respect everyone else's choices and stop making them feel bad for what they've decided.

I'm Natasha and I've been here for about a month give or take? I have not had sex since I've been here. Not once. I didn't even get laid when he had the sex pastries. Although that's probably because I got the last one and the one guy I talked to, walked off and never came back.

Anyway boys, here's your chance. I'm a trained gymnast if that helps any and I'm also up for just about anything. Except I'm not ready to have a baby yet so if that's not your thing, no worries.

I think it's wonderful how people here are able to look past things like jealousy and possessiveness in order to be with more than one person. Nobody has gotten angry, or caused fights about it, or treated their partners (men or women) like things.

This isn't really something I'm used to. For people who know my story, I was treated like a piece of property, and Achilles looking at me that way and throwing a tantrum over not having what was 'his' is what eventually led to his downfall.

Just some thoughts.
