[Tap tap. Tap tap tap. Have a scaley purple face, Marina.]

Hey, is this thing on? ... Okay, good.

First of all, has anyone seen a dragonfly around? His name's Sparx, and I think we got separated.

Second, where am I? Did I go through another portal? I probably shouldn't have taken that left after Dragon Shores.

That's... it, I think.

[He does know that electronics and water don't normally mix, so you can get an upside-down view of the pool as he shakes off his communicator and glides over the pool, doing a summersault in midair and diving down into it. Hey, who knows? There could be gems there!]

[a low, male voice] It's getting real boring around here lately.

Even the new arrivals aren't as interesting as they used to be. All the flailing and all the distress has just sort of become quiet resignation! Boring, boring, boring. [a more tenor male voice]

[and finally, a sweet female voice] Oh, darlings, that's a little harsh. It's in the nature of such creatures to become more efficient and less chaotic, don't you think? They're beings of order.

They could be orderly in a more interesting manner, couldn't they? [this voice and the female voice giggle together, sharing in the joke]

Well, regardless, we've decided to spice things up a little.

Yes, that's right! We love some good chaos. And we had some good chaos a few months ago, so we thought -- let's do that again!

Do try to have a little bit of fun, won't you? Go with it, enjoy yourselves! Try to smile every now and again, it's healthy.

[there's a brief pause for the three of them to giggle together, before the sly tenor adds]

Oh, and-- Whining is dreadfully boring. We won't put up with any nonsense like that, so we'll entertain any questions or comments, but if you want to chat, please make it -- you know. Something interesting?

[She had chosen the shelter kitchen because it was safer. The robots are there to take of any...mishaps she has and there are more ingredients to use.

And four hours and several attempts later--on the fifth day of attempts, but she would rather not think of the failures of the days before--she had done it!

Miranda wipes her flour-covered hand across her brow, tired and hot from the heat of the oven. Before her on the counter is a slightly lopsided chocolate cake covered in pink frosting with little white flower-shaped sprinkles.

Now she just...needs to clean up the mess all over the counters.]

[Voice|Private to March]

Umm...[a hesitant pause] March? I-I'm very sorry it's been so long! I lost track of time. [embarrassed laugh] But, well, I... I made your cake! I-If you still want it?

[a shot of a bunch of papers with lots of lines scribbled over it. the perceptive may notice the horrible handwriting at the top, and the nicer, more even handwriting at the bottom]

I'm curious. [sweeps the papers aside and the camera trains itself on Kon's interested face] How good are the medical facilities here? I'm betting that it's a lot more advanced from what I had back home, but how advanced is it exactly?

[pause] Also, who do I have to talk to again about teaching a class at the Academy? [he doesn't have the pamphlet at hand with him to check]

[ Did she, did she dream all of that? The angel attack, the coma, the momentary lapse of insanity - ]

[ her head is aching, which only serves to exacerbate her already spoiled mood further. ]

Oh come on, you could have at least let me kill all of them! Stupid robot. I only had three left - I could have beat them all in the next minute. But no, all I get is a splitting headache. Thanks a lot.

[ closes her eyes and massages her temples, and -- actually manages a smile ] ...I forgot how good it feels to kill angels.

[Touma laid out on the grass of the park. His hands were folded under his head, giving off the impression of him being relaxed. However, as he stared up at the projected sky (which he appreciated the thought of whoever came up with that idea, even if it wasn't quite the same as the real thing), his thoughts churned.

He'd already decided that the welcome basket (good cookies, by the way) and the message from their 'warden' meant that this wasn't another portal problem made up by Mukala. And, seeing as how this really did appear to be an underwater prison after all, he knew he certainly wasn't in Africa anymore. The fact that he had lost Nasti, Jun and Shuu was troubling to say the least, but he couldn't do anything for them now from here. He had to get home first.

And on that thought tangent, where was 'here'? Where were they? Who had created this Acumen? Was there a way to access the programming? Was there access to the outside world at all?

He had studied the small communicator after waking up, fascinated by the technology. It hadn't taken him long to figure it out. With only three buttons, the functions were very simple for him. He clicked it on, deciding to get right to the point with what he wanted to say.]

So this Acumen computer... it's an artificial intelligence , right? A program? Has anyone tried getting it to short-circuit or something to send us all back? Computers can be overloaded, you know.

{OOC: I have icons of Touma in his armor and undergear because, well, they spend most of the series in that, so those make up most of the screencaps out there. However, like Seiji and Ryo, Touma does not have his armor. So, ignore that part and just go with the facial expressions. XD

Also, he's already finished off a good portion of the cookies in the basket. XD}

Great. From one prison to another. Tch- doesn't even look like a prison. Just where the hell am I, anyway? This message doesn't explain anything!

[She sounds very much unbothered by her list of crimes.

She shifts, and along with her the rustle of fabric. Lots and lots of fabric. She fiddles with the communicator a bit - it's not difficult to figure out, so she turns on the audio function, not quite aware that it was already recording.]

Attention! I request some information. If I'm going to remain here for- life, I'd at least like to know a few things first.

[She's playing nice for now, because she's confident that even here Zero- Lelouch will find and save her. He said so.]

[Did anyone miss Minako? Because she's back - appearing on the feed. But something's a little different... Instead of exuding an aura of quiet intelligence with a confident, cheery and charismatic disposition, she might look a little unsure right now.]

Uhm. Hello? [is this working right? I've pressed the buttons the same way it indicated and all...]

I think there must be some kind of mistake - I've never attacked anyone or caused any form of damage to property. I wasn't transferring because I was kicked out of my previous school or anything like that!...

[If anything, though, she looks vaguely as if she is still in the middle of recovering from the shock of suddenly being brought here, and so briefly after arriving on Tatsumi Port Island. She takes a deep breath, and pauses a moment, before speaking again, sounding a little more certain this time.]

Where can I talk to this... 'Acumen' about this?

[Action]

[If you're walking about somewhere in the dome, you might just spot a certain redhead wandering about, carrying a welcome basket with her, clearly indicating that she's new in the dome.]

[She might just look pretty lost right now, even with the brochure clearly depicting the map of the dome, tucked nicely into the basket.]

[Point her somewhere, like the Shelter? Troll her? Give her a hug? That's completely up to you~]
The 122nd Day
04 July 2011 at 12:17 pm
Good morning, inmates. It is the 122nd day of the third generation, and more inmates will be integrated into the facility. Please be aware of this disruption as you go about your day.

Today will be warm, and your continued use of the beach and pool facilities is encouraged. Remember that there are consequences for anyone attempting to remove the restraints from one of the newly-arrived inmates.

Inmates Kohran Li and Peregrine Mendicant, the books you requested are available in the library. Inmates Souji Seta, Maya Fey, and Gazelle: The items you requested are available by the entrance to Sector 0.
[ Event: Summer Solstice Festival ]
29 June 2011 at 12:23 pm
[ Around noon, the robots that had been swarming the beach scatter, leaving a transformed landscape in their wakes. There are volleyball nets set up in the sand, along with colorful umbrellas and blankets beneath them. Part of the water has been sectioned off for water polo, while inflatable rafts in fanciful shapes are ready for use in the open area.

Ringing the beach are food stands serving street and festival foods: chin chin, takoyaki and taiyaki, aloo tikki, sabikh, empanada, hot dogs, ice cream and shaved ice, and suchlike. There is one stand where a robot serves an alcoholic punch not completely unlike sangria. Several of the other stands also serve non-alcoholic drinks. Clean up robots zoom from place to place, picking up garbage. ]

So, um...

[Fidgeting as the screen flips on, a girl with long brown hair worn up high in a ponytail (for once) glances away from the camera, red decorating her cheeks in a soft hue that glows. Fingers twisting, she tears them apart to curl into her skirt, a nervous habit that also serves for embarrassment. She licks her lips, speaking carefully as she continues.]

Ehee--I was just wondering, but,uh...is there anyone who tutors? I mean for some of the classes here in school...

[Looking a little sheepish, she laughs awkwardly before closing her eyes and giving a small sigh. Boy, asking really is kind of embarrassing.]

Thanks, I guess, to everyone who helped me out when I first got here. This isn't really what I pictured prison to be like.

[ spent much of his first, functioning day back in the prison exploring the additions to the facility and becoming familiar with the new voices on the network; it certainly feels as though people are truly settling in.

from sector 5, he wanders through the park and eventually turns toward the library, where he finds a bit of interesting reading while he gathers his thoughts. eventually, he moves to an empty section of the building and turns his communicator to a private channel. ]

[ voice/private ]

[Have a really messy and so-happy-it's-unnatural Minako popping up on the feed today, from waist up. Her white blouse is now stained with blue around the upper portions, and her hair, free of barrettes and let down to its full length roughly halfway down her back, now sports the same mixture of her normal reddish brown and a newly dyed bluish white series of streaks throughout her hair from within her dreams.]

Heeeey everyonee~! [she begins, oh-so-happily~] Lookie! [she spins about, swinging her hair for everyone to see] I dyed my hair! [giggling~ prettiness of her new hair color aside, something is clearly not right with her, to those that know her]

[after a while, she stops, almost abruptly, blinking instead]

Now what...? [she wonders, looking about until something off-screen apparently catches her attention, prompting her to wander off screen as well]

[moments after, you might just still be able to hear her, much softer than before] Heeey~! Come baaack! [whiny]

[ look, it's the weird kid again. today he is making a point of jumping about, because he is unrestrained and free and hanging loose. hell to the fuck yeah ]

This prison only has beautiful people in it. I didn't know criminals were so pretty, but I was wrong. I was very, very wrong.

[ clicks his tongue ] Hey, uh, Allen? Thanks.

[So, some people just couldn't keep their mouths shut. It's no skin off his back, and he's merely grateful that he'd gotten his restraint off before the warden had decided to have a meltdown over it. If he'd really wanted the restraints to stay on, he shouldn't have made them breakable in the first place, if such a thing was possible.]

[After his less-than-pleasant introduction with Itachi's partner, the boy had been even more of a recluse than normal, and was deliberately going out of his way to avoid most everyone. It was only the flashing lights and sounds of the arcade that finally caught his attention, and though he lingered in the doorway for a moment, he did eventually make his way inside.]

[This was all very, very new. Despite his mostly composed features, he was taken aback, and cautiously began to step among the machines. They were games, clearly, but what was the point? That was what he was having trouble figuring out.]

[Hello, Marina. Here's a familiar face! Only...not so much. This time around, GIR appears on the screen with red eyes and he seems to be a little more than peeved about being here.

There's a moment of silence before one eyes twitches and he attempts to hack into his communicator, wires popping out of his head to pick at it and try to broadcast to as many other communicators as he can. Of course that's not necessary, but he's doing it anyway.]

WE MEET AGAIN, ACUMEN. Your accusations are stupid! Your facility is STUPID!

YOU ARE A THREAT TO THE MISSION AND MUST BE TERMINATED.

[If you're a little ways away from the library, you should be able to see GIR seething as he starts to approach it. But be careful if you choose to approach him]

[lots of rustling and shaking noises, since Kon's taken off his headset to examine it. He looks pretty out of place - the man in the long robes with the wooden geta sandals] ...Huh. Looks like those goggles... [sticks it back on his head and looks around]

This is my second time, so I really shouldn't be surprised. [sighs, rubs his head] So - question.

If I try to take a shower, will these robots follow me in?
