Small steps, right. I about drove myself crazy but I forced myself to stay at the house alone today. Though I did rearrange the furniture and probably talked to myself more than any sane person ought to. Still, I did it. No one here to keep me company other than the cats even if they did scare me half to death when one of them knocked over the vase that I had placed on the table Crookshanks usually claims as his own.

Wayne is moving in.

I KNOW we agreed that it was a terrible idea. I know it doesn't make sense in the light of the recent realizations that I actually never stopped loving him.

But..

Wayne is my friend and he needs me right now. As a friend. I have seen his actual place and it's really not the best place to live if he wishes to have Rhys more often. So the plan is that he moves in, Rhys can have his own room and it'll make Social Services happy.

Right now, Wayne is a mess and he needs someone to help him get this all in order. You know how addictions work? He's really in a bad place, he has no idea where to start. The offer was there way before.

So he's moving in and we'll start building from there with a good place to live, a new job possibly and it'll help build his self esteem.

I can't ask you for your support on this because I'm basically making things hell for myself, but setting it all aside to help him is all I can do right now. I am his friend and I will not abandon him.

I'd love for you to come over for dinner and a movie though, it's been a while and you can tell me all about Mr Theodore
