Dear Ernie,

I'm sending this to express my gratitude for your help on Bonfire weekend and to apologise for the incident I caused both.

I appreciate your patience with me, the time you spent on me, the potions and your kindness. I know I caused you a lot of trouble and disturbed your evening. I'm sorry you had to put up with me and I'm sorry you had to see that. I apologise if I said anything or did anything that insulted you or offended or distressed you.

The charm enclosed is supposed to bring you luck. It's not as strong as Felix Felicis but it should encourage things to fall on your side when it comes to it and it should help you make better choices and choose the right paths. I made it myself from an old Greek spell, so I don't think it works all the time, but it should be reliable 80% of the time.
