I've never been able to understand the muggle traditions of Guy Fawkes night. It always seemed horribly distasteful but recently its become downright untenable.

Yesterday evening does not rank high up on my most favourite public holidays of the year and my mood has likely been influenced by gaining a cold from my co-worker who sniffled and sneezed into her handkerchiefs like she was solely responsible for stemming the tide of snot from her ruby red festive nose.

With all my traveling lately I might have missed it, but has anything been said about the pick up league as of late?

That said, the weather looks to be fairly decent right now and I've been stuck in the office all morning and am ready to get out now that I've finished my report from the weekend. Anyone up to tossing a bludger around for an hour or so before it gets dark?

I was thinking last night that it would be fun to be a little kid again for just one day. I say we should have a kids party where we play silly children's games. I know a few wizarding games but I'd like to expand my repertoire to Muggle-born games. So, who's up for an afternoon of snacks and kids games? Maybe this Sunday?

Due to two staff members giving me notice this week I have some job openings coming up.

Wingbeat is looking for staff for the following positions (a certain amount of flexibility and willingness to switch off between jobs occasionally would be helpful):
