[Private to Self]I think I've had a breakthrough. I might finally understand how to do this, though understanding and being able to do are not the same thing. I still can't get it. Thankfully, Professor McGonagall agreed to meet with him next week to discuss it. She said she didn't mind, that she was open to discussing theories, practises, and technicalities. I half hope I can make some progress between now and then, but, regardless, I'm actually very excited about this.
I'm not sure I'm as excited to be going out tonight with Ernie. I think the perks to going to a cover night is that I shouldn't be expected to do much talking. I need to focus on that. And the fact that Ernie didn't have to invite me out for my birthday. I wouldn't have been upset if he hadn't, but the fact remains that he could have left it at "happy birthay" or less. Still. Maybe we should have picked another night.

And does anyone have any book recommendations? I need something to read during my lunch break.
