There was a very big difference between enjoying food and waking up in it and swimming in it. While it wasn’t horrible or the worst thing ever, swimming in black beans did not make for a particularly great start to the morning especially when she had places to be and things to do that day.
It took a little while to get home (somehow being transported to black bean pit happened without her wand). She quickly showered, changed and headed off for the day. Starting out was a tasting the pies by Pride of Portree fans. She was a little late but luckily that only helped her image at this event. After tasting 6 pies, two which were horrific, one that was okay, two that were okay and one that was fantastic (it won easily) Sylvan was free to watch the match. She took her seat in one of the boxes and cheered on Pride or Portree, they were her hosts after all. The Montrose Magpies murdered them which allowed Sylvan to slip out early.
She’d never admit it but even those passing moments of seeing Wood always made her stomach tighten and that seed of wonder start to grow again. Knowing she had to get all of that out of her mind and knowing she wasn’t ready to go home yet she found herself at Elementry. The likelihood that she’d run into anyone there was low. It wasn’t the go-to for post Quidditch celebrations and most everyone else she knew wasn’t the Elementry kind of patron, well, Cormac on occasion, but she wasn’t worried about running into him.
She took a seat at the end of the bar and ordered a pint of lager and pulled out some crisps she’d grabbed before heading in.
