So Happy Together

Who: Molly & Tasha
Where: Sugar Shack
When: Sunday afternoon

Robin had let Molly slip out of the house while Tricia was passed out in her room, leaving Robin in charge as usual. The blind Slayer had been looking forward to Sunday afternoon all week and couldn't wait to get to the Sugar Shack and hang out with Tasha for the rest of the afternoon.

Upon entering the shop, Molly's ears were assailed by the Turtles song, "So Happy Together" and grinned. This place sounded cool already! Soon after she entered, the Slayer was nearly mowed over by an over-excited waitress who wanted to help her. Probably high on sugar, Molly thought, smelling all kinds of candy as well as coffee. In her laid back way, she kindly thanked the waitress and asked for a table, saying she was meeting a friend. When Molly was guided to a table, she took a seat and waited.

Chowing Down

Who: Faith and Open
Where: A Diner
When: About 4 A.M.

To most people, the girl going through her second hamburger at the booth in the corner might look a little like a runaway. She certainly had a scruffy look to her. She had a cut under her right eye at the moment, and, although they weren't visible, a few bruises on her back, arms, and legs. She had to reassure the waitress several times that she was fine, she had just been in a fight at a bar. She had won it, though. You should see the other girl.

The other girl was actually a pile of dust in an alley behind said bar. She had been about to snack on some random college dude who looked a little like he wasn't worth saving. Still, it wasn't Faith's job to pick the victims. He still at least tossed her a thanks before he ran away, so maybe he wasn't a total douche. Still, slaying made her hungry. So, before she went home, she had figured she'd go and grab some grub.

She sipped on her chocolate milkshake before taking another big bite out of her burger. At least now, with this slaying gig, she had the money to back up the appetite that had only gotten worse since becoming a killer Slayer.
