...wow, okay, not just a dream then. I'll take it. Kinda pissed about my stuff, though. How the hell is it supposed to be useful if it's all dull and half of it's missing? Why not just keep the bag back at camp for the group if I can't even use any of it?

Who would be interested in having another bonfire this Saturday, but with a twist this time? Ray suggested we have some sort of cultural exchange. The idea is that people would take turns performing or sharing something from their home. Sing a song, teach a dance step, tell a story, that sort of thing. Whatever you want to share with the group.

Of course no one would have to participate in that part if they didn't want to, so don't worry if you have stage fright. No one's going to push you up in front of everyone if you don't want to go!

We thought it would be both entertaining and informative since we're not all from the same time and place.

Hi, everyone. It seems like it's well past my turn to do...something like this, and it's far easier for me to do it this way than in person with...anyone.

I'm Dr. Amanda Perry. I've spoken with some of you before. Back home, I was an aeronautical engineer.

Back home I was also a quadraplegic. I was in an accident when I was nine years old that left me paralyzed from my chin down. I relied on a caretaker to eat and tend to my personal hygiene. I almost died choking more times than I care to recall.

Before I came here, I was killed.

Where I'm trying to go with this is...I've never really been intimate. I've been attracted to someone people, I'm fairly certain I'm heterosexual, and I've read plenty, but I've never had any real practical experience. Which sounds far more absurd, at my age, than it ever did before.

I'm not asking for anyone to 'volunteer', especially if it's going to be out of pity or sympathy. I just felt it might be easier, considering our purpose for being here and since everyone's pairing off so rapid-, to have it out in the open now, so it wouldn't be an awkward conversation with someone later. I never had to talk about it before.

If anyone has any respectful questions, I'll gladly answer.

One quick thing that I want to put out there. I'm a succubus. For those of you who don't know what that means, I feed on sexual energy. So, I'm hoping that given this place is supposed to be paradise, I won't have any issue finding volunteers. Male and/or female.

Anyone want to go for a morning swim? Maybe some yoga on the beach? I know I'm just two hands and a body to move and carry stuff here but maybe we could get a morning beach yoga going? I'm not an expert but I'm all about flexibility.

Has anyone else noticed someone who looks exaclty like someone from home, but then they claim to be someone completely different? Because this has happened to me twice now.

Also I'm sure we've all noticed the fruit trees. But as for the plans, I'm going to start looking for a location for a community garden, and probably building some sort of fence to keep out animals? Obviously this will take some time and housing probably comes first, but any volunteers to help?

Kind of a bad choice considering I lack severely in the survival department thing...unless you count high school and a teenage pregnancy Vocal Adrenaline. I am a fast learner and I'm pretty physically fit from my cheerleader days. I also kick butt at singing and dancing. Just saying.

I know we're all excited about waking up in a paradise potential playground, but building and survival are still important.

Has anyone woken up near fresh/drinkable water? It would make sense to start building shelters around a clean source of water.

If anyone is interested in teaming up from the start, I'm going to be working on a temporary shelter as soon as I locate a water source. I also have some hunting and survival skills. Anyone who has skills and is willing to share/speak up, please do.
