Tomorrow we will be headed for the ever so romantic Cape Disappointment. This is a public park, however it will be closed to the public for the day. We will be leaving at 8 and returning by 6. It appears as though we'll have. Good weather for the outdoor trip. There is a lighthouse nearby if anyone wishes for a tour, I will see if we can arrange that. There is a company offering snow mobile rentals as well as skis, tubes, snowshoes, and ice fishing. Food will be provided for a picnic lunch as well as a bonfire. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please let me know.

Had a request from Wild Thing. He wants to get a letter to his wife and son. Are there any other restrictions on him?

He also asked to visit a zoo to gain more forms. I'd be willing to go with him at some point for that.

A field trip has been scheduled for Valentine’s Day. Please let me know if you’re interested. For security reasons, the location will be released only to those going on the trip the day before.

I put together a trip to the picturesque location of Cape Disappointment for Valentine’s Day. I thought it might be appropriate, particularly for those who might normally feel like opting out of a field trip on this day. Anyone willing to lend a hand would be most appreciated.

One thing the facility in South Dakota has that is lacking here in Washington? A greenhouse. Not an extravagant one, mind you.

I don't imagine that one will be built here any time soon, but is it possible there's plots of land on site where one might be able to start a garden?

So I'll bite. What's the protocol around here for Holidays like Valentine's Day? Party? Field Trip? Locking them in their rooms to listen to Barry Manilow for hours?
