Who: Finn, Liam, Audrey, Eli, and Corey
Where: Their house
When: Morning

Eli woke to the sound of his phone, which was only odd because everyone that usually messaged him was in the house with him. He rubbed his eyes as he picked it up, frowning at the message from Jack. He sent one back, then another, before turning to wake up Corey. “Hey,” he said softly, touching her shoulder. “You awake?” He was still learning the difference between a sleeping heartbeat and a waking one, but if he was awake, then he thought Corey probably was too.

She'd taken a while to get the blood off of her, and to patch up the wounds she'd acquired. Thankfully, Eli had seemed...well. Just fine. It was weird, but a pretty big check in the plus column. She was awake, just sore. “Yeah,” she answered, voice quiet. “How are you feeling?” she asked, shifting to look at him.

Who: Corey and Eli
Where: Corey and Serge's house
When: evening
Warnings: violence

Corey had been packing up a few things, making sure the rifle was loaded and she had enough ammo, just in case. Certainly, she was guessing she wouldn't need it, but she wanted it. She'd learned a long time ago to never go anywhere completely unarmed. So, she didn't. She thought she was ready, though. She had just grabbed a quick bite to eat, before she went to Eli's.

She finished up the pb and j sandwich she'd made herself, then started to head to the stairs, so she could grab her bag. She had to pause, however, as she heard footsteps on the porch. Turning instead toward the windows, she saw through the sheers several other people heading toward her house.

Time:11:24 pm
Who: Eli and Finn
Where: Their House
When: Afternoon

When Eli woke up that morning, he'd gone hunting in the rain. It was the kind of thing he could get lost in, running for hours, chasing down rabbits, eventually bringing them back to the house for a stew. He hadn't realized how much time had passed till he returned, starving for a meal, so he set about skinning the rabbits in the kitchen in preparation for a stew. He was sure he was quite a sight, drenched and muddy, standing in the kitchen with a knife in his hands, but he didn't want to stop to shower till the stew was on.

Who: Eli and Audrey
Where: Their place
When: Afternoon

It was one of those days where staying in was the only option and Eli had taken up beside the fire, sketching away in his notebook. He’d spent the morning helping chop wood for people, his good deed of the day, and now he just wanted to relax. Maybe later he’d go see Corey, perhaps join her for dinner, but he wanted to see if the storm let up a little. When the electricity went out, he sighed, but was otherwise unbothered. They’d gone years without electricity; a few days wouldn’t kill them.

Audrey came up behind Eli and gave him a little squeeze on the shoulder as she sat down next to him. "Hey," she greeted. She was still up in the air over everything with Finn and Liam, maybe she needed a little Eli time. Also, there was the matter of becoming a werewolf, which she was still on board with. “You look cozy.”

Subject:Preparing for the Storm
Time:05:49 pm
Who: Eli and Savannah
Where: The lumberyard
When: Morning

Savannah had been up early in the morning like always, preferring to have some time to wake and leisurely prepare for her day. She couldn’t help but notice that today had a different feel to it when she stepped outside to get some fresh air, though. For one, it was colder than what she had grown used to within the dome. She had ignored it at first, but it only grew colder as the morning pressed on and that caused her to re-evaluate her hopes that the temperature would rise throughout the day. Finally, she decided she had better pay a visit to the lumberyard before school so she could be prepared to heat her room with the small fireplace inside it tonight, if needed. She changed into a more appropriate outfit for collecting firewood than the dress she had previously slipped into, jeans and a t-shirt with a light zip-up hoodie her clothing of choice, then left the ranch with a basket in hand and headed for her destination.

It was busier than she had anticipated it would be; apparently a lot of other people had the same idea she did about stocking up for tonight. Then again, there was no reason to be surprised. After surviving everything out there, being prepared was something that just came naturally now. At least it did for her.

Who: Eli and Corey
Where: Corey’s House
When: Evening

While Eli wasn’t usually one to miss school, he made an exception the morning after the full moon. He spent most of the day asleep, and then when he did get up, he went to work, like everything was normal. He got home from work, showered, and was out the door again, leaving a note on the counter as to where he’d gone. Everyone that he lived with had seen him in passing, but now it was time to go find Corey. That he’d made it through the night without incident put a bit of a bounce in his step, and he was almost smiling by the time he knocked on her door. Things could have been bad, but they hadn’t been, and that was something to be happy about.

As soon as class let out, Eli made a bee-line for Corey. He had wanted to call her, but he wasn’t good at talking on the phone. And he’d thought about dropping by, but he didn’t want to have this conversation with her in front of her grandfather. So when he realized he’d been avoiding the conversation, he knew he had to take whatever opportunity he could get. At least her grandfather had prepped her on what might be out there. Hopefully she wouldn’t see him as a threat, but there was no telling. “Hey,” he said, speeding up his walk so that he was beside her, walking away from the school. “I… I was wondering… what’re you doing this afternoon?”

Who: December and everyone helping out
Where: the woods near the trader's circle
When: mid day

So, there was a great clearing, which was nice, and weirdly, a lot of people seemed to show up. She had opted to go buy a lot of water, and other shit, almost like she was setting up for a town freaking picnic. Only instead they were building super fun werewolf cages. Right.

As people milled around, she looked at everyone, and stood up on a cooler she'd brought. "Okay! So, hi. I'm December. And I figured this was our best bet, so that's why we're all here. To make sure tomorrow night doesn't get stupid and terrifying at the same time. Thanks for coming. Let's get this show on the road as fast as we can, and get this done. Honestly, with this many people it shouldn't take that long." Which was kinda shocking, but damn. There were a lot of people. "Any questions, find me and ask. Have at it."

Eli was dreading his conversation with Liam, but not as much as he was Audrey’s conversation with Finn. Of the two of them, he felt he got the better end of the deal. The worst that could happen with Liam was that he might run off and hide. Overall, he seemed to be pretty understanding about other things, so hopefully this wouldn’t be any different. Eli knocked on his bedroom door, then waited. “It’s Eli. Do you have a few?”

Who: Audrey and Eli
Where: their house
When: very late

Audrey had waited up for Eli, not sure how things were going. She'd wanted to go with him to the meeting, but it hadn't been allowed. So, she waited, instead. She nibbled at her lower lip, already sitting up on the couch when she heard his approach up the porch steps. When the door opened, she was already talking. "How was it?"

Eli was still overwhelmed when he left the meeting, having accepted the idea that he was a werewolf on the word of others, plus the idea that there were vampires about. That hadn't been mentioned at the werewolf meeting, but at dinner with Corey and her grandfather. He hadn't gotten a chance to tell Audrey about his strange dinner experience, which was how he knew she had to be asking about the meeting. Now that he'd been through it, he was glad she hadn't gone with him. They would have sniffed her out immediately. "It was weird," he said, glad she had waited up for him. "The whole night's been weird. Do you want me to start with dinner or the meeting?"

Subject:The Dinner
Time:07:03 pm
Who: Corey, Eli, and Serge
Where: Corey and Serge’s house
When: Evening

It should’ve been so normal, so mundane, but for Serge Greylin? This was one of the stranger moments he’d found himself in in years now. Putting the finishing touches on a simple dinner in the kitchen, he couldn’t help reflecting on how foreign all of this was, and how removed he was from any semblance of the normal world. Serge hadn’t cooked a proper meal since the old days, and then only for himself. He’d never expected to be doing so for company, especially when that company was his granddaughter and the boy who’d orbited into her life.

He could only hope that Eli would measure up, already doubting it but trying to at least give him some benefit of doubt for the moment. So he was possibly infected, potentially damaged like most survivors, and probably sweet on Corey… that definitely stacked Serge’s favor against him, but he was going to try. If only for Corey. And when Eli finally got here? Serge would find out just how determined he really was to withstand the old Russian’s scrutiny.

Subject:Pack Meeting
Time:10:54 pm
Characters: Micah and OPEN TO ALL WEREWOLVES
Setting: Hospital Chapel, just after 10pm

Micah had watched them file in, the variety of patients in a variety of states. He'd chosen to sit up on the makeshift altar, not that a non denominational chapel would really have an altar, but it did. After a while, when he was sure no one else was going to drift in he stood up, watching them, meeting their eyes before giving a smile a shot.

"Thanks for coming," he said. "I think this is all of us, for now at least. Anyone who didn't come by, I'll go find them later." He shifted his weight for a moment before jumping into things.

"I know all of you are feeling weird. Heightened sense of smell, heightened hearing, things like that," he said looking around the room. "Maybe even some tweaks to your personality, and you're probably all running a fever. I know because I'm going through the same thing." He smiled again, feeling more like the doctor and standing up a little straighter. They will listen to you. They need you. The voice was in the back of his head reassured him.

"I've looked through everything and the answer, it's strange. But things are strange these days. Any of us who saw the zombies know that. That said. I think we're werewolves. Or we will be turning into them. It explains the quick healing, it explains the senses all of it. It's ridiculous, but there's been other weird things happening. It's not just us." He shrugged a little.

"That said, you can believe me or not. I can't prove it one way or another. But I can tell you that there's people out there that want to keep us in line. They'll hunt us if we step out of line, just like they did the zombies. We need to prepare. We need to stick together."

Corey had gotten the text from Finn, and knew she wanted to get to the hospital. But, because she was getting warnings, and she now had her grandfather around to be upset with her over not doing the smart thing, she merely contacted him. It was late, she didn't even know if visiting hours were a thing, or if they were up and running, so she may need him to swing something in order to see Eli.

Subject:Supply-Run Gone Wrong
Time:11:56 pm
Who: Finn and Eli
Where: Near their house
When: just after dark

The quick errand to grab supplies for the house had taken longer than expected, because apparently everyone else had the same idea for the end of the day and by the time Finn and Eli had gotten through the small crowd, it was already dark. Finn wasn’t keen on walking home after dark, not with the warnings out about the wolves, but he wasn’t about to stay somewhere that wasn’t home. And he was armed, hatchet from work at his waist. So he kept one hand free as they walked, headed towards the house, trying not to make too much of the howls he heard or the fact that they seemed to get closer. It wasn’t until one came with an added growl that sounded just off to his left in the bushes that he really started to worry. “Eli...” he started, but the growling overpowered his soft tone. He could see the house, just up ahead, but running now wouldn’t help. He knew that much. Running would mean being chased and neither of them were that fast.

Subject:Company for the Storm
Time:09:21 pm
Who: Eli and Corey
Where: Corey’s House
When: Early Evening

When the lights went out, Eli began to worry, the storm outside like nothing he’d seen since moving into the dome. A little rain wouldn’t hurt anyone, but they weren’t prepared like they might have been on the outside. Well, most people weren’t prepared. They were prepared, at least when it came to the essentials. Once everything in the house was securely fastened, ready to ride out the storm, Eli wrapped a bundle of firewood in plastic and set out into the rain. They had enough wood to last them days, but he wasn’t sure Corey would have any at all. No one expected it to get cold in the dome, but no one expected the doors to shut either. With the rain coming down in his face, he knocked at her door, then brushed his wet hair from his eyes. His raincoat seemed to be doing little good, but at least the wood was dry.

Subject:What is normal?
Time:10:54 pm
Who: Eli and Finn
Where: Their house
When: Noon

There were times that Eli embraced living with Finn and Liam and other times he avoided them completely. It depended on the day, on what he could take and what he was willing to put up with. Yesterday had been a day to avoid, as he'd been pissed that Finn had entered him into the bachelor auction. Liam wasn't really to blame for it, and neither was Audrey for that matter, but he'd still wanted space. It made it less likely that he might explode at one of them. Today, however, he was feeling more forgiving, since he was somewhat pleased with the outcome. He had a date with Corey, someone he would have never dreamed was interested in him. He'd never considered asking her out because, well, Eli hadn't thought a lot about dating. Now that was on the table... because of Finn.

It was the reason he sought him out, knocking on his bedroom door to see if he was around. He wasn't sure what he was going to say, since he didn't see this as completing a quest, but he wanted a chance to talk. It was rare enough that Eli thought he should go for it.

Eli knew Corey was uncomfortable coming up on stage and he didn’t blame her. He didn’t like being up there either. The faster they could get off, the better, and once he was out of the spotlight he gave her a little smile. “Thanks for bidding on me,” he said, leading her over to the table where she would pay. He didn’t know what to make of the gesture, but that didn’t mean he didn’t like it.

"I um. Welcome?" she suggested, not sure what to do. She was still feeling mortified, and she quietly paid her bid, then hurried out of the tent, hoping he would follow her. But god she needed air.

Subject:Dudes For Sale or....The Bachelor Auction!
Time:12:05 am
Who: Open to Everyone!
Where: The Movie Festival, Central Park
When: 4 p.m.

When the clock struck 4, Chiri bounded up onto the stage, grinning and waving at everyone. She'd been given a microphone earlier, which might have been a bad idea, considering it was now covered in stickers. Rainbows and happy faces type stickers. "Good afternoon, Domers! Welcome to happy good fun festival day, with lots of stuff going on! There should be something everyone can enjoy, and we've got an event here to help out our treasured citizens--the children! All proceeds go to the orphanage, which I will assure my very self! If anyone tries to pull a fast one, they're getting bitten! And no one knows if I have rabies or not!" she said brightly to the crowd.

"Anywho! Today, we are gathered here to honor a time tested tradition! To totally sell people off for good times for a good cause! So get out your wallets, and feast your eyes on this Dome's bravest bachelors!" Chiri winked at the crowd. "And by the way, they are all way easy on the eyes, so let's cough up some decent pricetags!" she teased. "Here's how this goes! Opening bids start out at twenty bucks! They'll go up five at a time!" she explained. "To make a bid, wave your number around, and someone'll spot it. Probably me. Then there'll be raising bids, and all that til someone comes out on top! Winners will get an evening with their shiny bought man, along with tickets to a movie at the theater! I should tell you it's got to be done within thirty days, but who the heck would wait it out that long when these men are just waiting for you?" Chiri bounced up and down on her feet. "And on that note--let the bidding begin!!"

Where: Central Park
When: Mid-day

In the time between school and work, Eli liked to sit in the center of town and people watch. There was a bench under the shade of a tree where he sat, eyes taking in the business around him, those setting up for the festival. It was more activity than he was used to seeing, but the difference made him even more eager to put it down on paper. With his pad out in his lap, he began to sketch the scene, the way the lights hung, the stage and the screen for the movie. He tried to imagine what it might look like at night. If he could sit out there at night and draw then, that would have been perfect. But the daylight gave him an idea of what he might see, allowing him to add in the night time details later. Drawing was an escape for him, a bit of peacefulness in all the activity around him.

While Eli had school in the morning, the rain had kept him out of the fields in the afternoon. He found himself at the library instead of home, though, looking for a distraction, or even a quiet place to sit and draw. He felt like he needed to talk to Finn, to apologize maybe, but that would mean he felt sorry for something he’d done. It was true that he didn’t want to upset his friend, but everything he’d said, he’d meant. So how was he supposed to apologize? He was avoiding the contact altogether, finding a table at the library and sitting down to draw. He’d gathered a few books he wanted to choose between, but so far drawing had been his distraction.
