| Who: Micah and Nic Where: Nic’s house When: Late morning Micah wasn’t supposed to be home. He’d been at work for days on end and when things finally calmed down he was sent home, and while he fought it, he was exhausted. He felt terrible about leaving, but things had calmed down. Everyone who was still there was stable. There was nothing more he could do and they’d call him if he needed them. | Who: Micah and OPEN TO ALL Where: The Hospital When: Any time across the 3 days Micah was ready for the worst, but the worst came faster than he expected. As those who had been kidnapped were found, they were filtering into his hospital in varying stages of needing help as well those who'd gotten them out. Which had him running from one end of the hospital to the other, but he was relieved. They walked through those doors and they became his pack and instantly he worried about them less. They were safe inside these wall. That was exactly where he wanted them. Now it was just a matter of making them better. | ||||||||

| Who: Marley and Micah When: Morning Where: Eatzy's It was a marvelous fucking day, if only because the sun was finally out. After a couple days of cold and rain, Marley was willing to overlook all of the chaos and questions within the dome, just to enjoy the fact that the weather was no longer wet and miserable. Obviously she had been used to the harsher elements when she had been outside the dome, and trading. But if she had to be stuck inside, she sure as hell expected the promised controlled weather to be seventy two and sunny Was that too much to ask? There were the occasional fun moments here and there, but really, Delphi was turning out to be one huge disappointment. Nasty things that went bump in the night, way too much death and crappy weather. At least the food was decent. She was sitting at the counter at Eatzy's now, sipping an okay cup of coffee and eating an omelet. The diner itself wasn't too busy, though there were a few people scattered about, talking to one another in low tones, though Marley could hear well enough to know they were gossiping about the missing people. How could anyone go missing in a dome? Marley had to imagine the police were knocking on every single door, searching every single house... although maybe that violated privacy laws or something, if such a thing even existed anymore. Sighing a bit, Marley realized she should have asked Jake to come with her for breakfast, but he had still been sleeping when Marley woke and she knew better than to wake him up when he was out cold. But that was okay. She could sit quietly, eat her breakfast and eavesdrop on the conversations around her. Usually that was the best time to pick up on interesting bits of information. One never knew when those would come in handy. | ||||||||

| Who: Micah and Nic Where: One of the fires When: early morning Micah had finished off a killer shift at work, people in with burns, people in just scared, shooting at nothing and hurting others, and at least five people he was sure were just hiding out at the hospital because it seemed safer. His first goal was Nic’s with a bed and his boyfriend, but the second wasn’t there. Micah frowned, then showered and changed, heading out into the cold to find Nic. The fires were throwing off his sense of smell, but eventually he found the other man, standing outside a burning building that they seemed to have given up on putting out, just waiting on it to finish burning. Slipping close he rested a hand against Nic’s shoulder, squeezing gently, but not saying anything. Nic stood beside the burning house, wiping the sweat from his brow as the flames began to die down. They’d done all they could to put the fires out, but some of them they couldn’t get to in time. It was a small dome. There was only one fire truck. The only time something like this would have happened-- multiple fires in various locations-- would have been if they were set on purpose. And Delphi wasn’t prepared for arsen. | Who: Lia and Micah Where: Lia’s house When: midday Micah had stayed the night at the hospital with Nic, working and snoozing when he could and even stealing a quiet moment alone, though the moment didn’t go as far as he would have liked it too. Not with a kid coming in with what looked like the flu and a panicked mother. So Micah had worked until the weather had eased and finally one of the other doctors had come in and he’d had a chance to go home. And home had resulted in crashing hard. When he woke he headed for Lia’s, planning on texting her about meeting at the diner, but with the lights out it didn’t look like that was going to be an option. The Alpha wanted to check on his pack though, so he headed towards her house, collar up on his jacket against the mist and chill. ( He doesn't seem wonderful ) | ||||||||

| Who: Nic and Micah Where: The Hospital When: Late Afternoon When Nic woke to find the temperature had dropped, the first thing he did was stock the house with fresh firewood. Then he went to work helping other people stock their houses, as well as make sure their flu was open to prevent more work for him later on. He wasn’t worried about anyone’s ability to set a fire, since they wouldn’t be alive now without that capability, but he did sometimes worry that they forgot they were in a house now and that setting a fire had different constraints inside rather than out. The rain, of course, slowed his work, and once the electricity went out he headed on down to the hospital. It was one of the few buildings in the dome with backup generators, but that didn’t mean things were easy on the inside. It was still only partially lit, though lucky not in a state of chaos. While people were cold, they weren’t in danger, so he went to find Micah. ( and learning new roles ) | ||||||||

| Who: Nic and Skylar, with a brief appearence from Micah Where: Nic's house When: Late morning Kenzie had stayed late and Skylar had wound up sleeping in his truck. When he woke up he was very aware that he was in a worse place than before and drug himself out of the truck, falling over the side before deciding what he wanted. He didn't bother with a shower, hair still askew, wearing the leather jacket and scarf he'd slept and and headed straight for Nic's house, knocking on the door. Who cared if Dr. Sexy was there. Skylar didn't. He wanted to talk to his friend and he wasn't stopping it until he got him dressed and headed for the diner with coffee. Nic was expecting Skylar, even if he didn’t know when. He’d gotten up, showered, and called in to put himself on call. If he was going to get baked with Skylar, he didn’t need to be officially at work. Hopefully there’d be no emergency that required his assistance. When the knock came to the door, Nic went to answer it dressed in a t-shirt in jeans. At the sight of Skylar standing before him in slight disarray, he raised both brows. “Did you start without me?” ( The boys catch up ) | ||||||||

| Who: Nic and Micah Where: The hospital When: late Micah was feeling more at ease. Lia was doing well, he was back at work and thankfully there were no new patients with bites or anything of the sort. He hadn't had a chance to try shifting, but the energy he'd built up locked in the cage the night before had him going, cutting through visits with patients and paperwork that had backed up until his hospital was humming like a well oiled machine. He was in his office, plugging through the last of the paperwork and idly doodling a tattoo idea that had come to him, something to mark this new phase of life. There were more doodles on the same page, another tattoo design that wasn't for him and he wasn't sure he wanted to admit the intention behind it. ( and serious conversations ) | ||||||||

| Who: Mannix and everyone at the encampment Where: The Werewolf Encampment When: Sunset through Moonrise As soon as the sun fell down behind the trees, Mannix hurried down to the werewolf encampment. The moon still had a while before it rose in the sky, but they didn't know the exact timing. He wanted all the werewolves locked in their cages, ready for whenever that moment hit. He knew he wasn't the authority figure at the camp, but he had the feeling December was already there, guiding people. It was a good role for her, non-threatening to the wolves who didn't see her as an authority figure. When he arrived some people were in cages, others were out, but everyone seemed to be heading that direction. He cast a glance towards the sky. The full moon was on it's way and when it got there they'd finally know what they were dealing with. | ||||||||

| Who: Nic and Micah Where: Nic's house When: Morning Warning: NSFW Micah woke a little before dawn but hadn't moved. He'd already told them to only expect him for a few hours today at the hospital and waking up with Nic's arms wrapped around his middle and head against his chest was a reason to stay in bed. He knew Nic had promised to stick with him, but Micah couldn't fight that fear that he might change his mind or get hurt as a result. Both were things Micah couldn't bear. | Who: December and everyone helping out Where: the woods near the trader's circle When: mid day So, there was a great clearing, which was nice, and weirdly, a lot of people seemed to show up. She had opted to go buy a lot of water, and other shit, almost like she was setting up for a town freaking picnic. Only instead they were building super fun werewolf cages. Right. As people milled around, she looked at everyone, and stood up on a cooler she'd brought. "Okay! So, hi. I'm December. And I figured this was our best bet, so that's why we're all here. To make sure tomorrow night doesn't get stupid and terrifying at the same time. Thanks for coming. Let's get this show on the road as fast as we can, and get this done. Honestly, with this many people it shouldn't take that long." Which was kinda shocking, but damn. There were a lot of people. "Any questions, find me and ask. Have at it." | ||||||||

| Who: Nic and Micah Where: Micah's place When: Evening Micah had everything set up on the kitchen table, but he'd also made and effort to get take out too, which was on the counter. In short, he'd been avoiding his boyfriend, but he hadn't said that and secretly hoped Nic hadn't noticed. In a failed attempt to make up for it, he'd showered and changed into something nice almost, a pair of jeans that fit and a button down. | Who: Lia and Micah When: Afternoon Where: The hospital Lia was feeling... good. Really good. For a while, it was easy to forget how she was feeling, with her senses in overdrive and her uncertainty about her condition. But Riley seemed to make that all go away and after the night before, she couldn't seem to shake the smile off of her face. But she needed to see Micah. She felt bad about missing his text, especially if he had some news for her. The possibility of something being wrong concerned her, but Lia hoped maybe he just had a proper explanation, and then maybe a way to get her back to feeling normal again. Walking into the hospital, Lia asked for Micah and was directed back to his office. She had to shake the memory of being with Riley out of her mind for now. She could always go back to grinning like an idiot later. Knocking lightly on his door, she peeked her inside and smiled at her friend. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" | Characters: Micah and OPEN TO ALL WEREWOLVES Setting: Hospital Chapel, just after 10pm Micah had watched them file in, the variety of patients in a variety of states. He'd chosen to sit up on the makeshift altar, not that a non denominational chapel would really have an altar, but it did. After a while, when he was sure no one else was going to drift in he stood up, watching them, meeting their eyes before giving a smile a shot. "Thanks for coming," he said. "I think this is all of us, for now at least. Anyone who didn't come by, I'll go find them later." He shifted his weight for a moment before jumping into things. "I know all of you are feeling weird. Heightened sense of smell, heightened hearing, things like that," he said looking around the room. "Maybe even some tweaks to your personality, and you're probably all running a fever. I know because I'm going through the same thing." He smiled again, feeling more like the doctor and standing up a little straighter. They will listen to you. They need you. The voice was in the back of his head reassured him. "I've looked through everything and the answer, it's strange. But things are strange these days. Any of us who saw the zombies know that. That said. I think we're werewolves. Or we will be turning into them. It explains the quick healing, it explains the senses all of it. It's ridiculous, but there's been other weird things happening. It's not just us." He shrugged a little. "That said, you can believe me or not. I can't prove it one way or another. But I can tell you that there's people out there that want to keep us in line. They'll hunt us if we step out of line, just like they did the zombies. We need to prepare. We need to stick together." | ||||||||

| Who: Micah and December Where: the morgue When: evening The morning with Nic had gotten better, even if things still seemed shaky between them when he left. Micah was worried whatever was happening to him had screwed him up, and was in the process of ruining the two of them. Which meant he really needed answers. It was like an added level of need beyond what he already had. Micah realized that he’d forgotten to actually say where he’d meet December, but habit had him heading towards her office in the basement. | Who: Lia and Micah When: Mid morning Where: The hospital Despite the discomfort of hearing almost every creak and footstep in the course of the night, Lia had slept fairly well. At least better than she had in the hospital. Riley’s body had been warm and solid and comforting and when she woke the next morning, she was feeling better than she had in a couple of days. Her senses were still in overdrive, but the pain in her shoulder was almost non-existent now. Lia was able to get Sophia out of bed, dressed and fed before having to take her to school. Her own boss had known she had been injured, so Lia wasn’t due back at the high school until Monday, as long as she was feeling up to it. She was feeling up to it today, but there were things Lia needed to take care of. Besides running by Gin’s shop to say hello, take a peek at the naughty painting and pick up some clothes, Lia also wanted to see Micah. She was comfortable enough with him to tell him what was bothering her. There were lingering issues from her attack, and Lia had to hold onto some semblance of hope that he could tell her what was wrong. ( I'm not a superhero ) | ||||||||

| Who: Olivia and Micah When: Morning Where: Outside of the hospital Olivia had been up early, spending an hour or so at the Town Hall before walking over to the hospital to help a few patients who had trouble communicating with the doctors. There had been more carnage. Wolves, this time. Olivia had heard them in the distance, howling, the night before and she hadn't risked stepping outside her house once the sun had set. She hadn't quite been aware of just how bad it had been until wandering through the halls of the hospital, speaking to a few staff members she knew, glancing in on a couple rooms to visit familiar faces. There were more questions than answers and not everyone who had an unfortunate encounter with a wolf over the past couple of nights had survived. It left her with a heavy feeling in her chest, but Olivia resisted the urge to go home and pour herself a drink. She lit a cigarette outside of the hospital instead, thankful for the brief break in rain. She didn't smoke often. Only when she felt it was the only way to ease some of the anxiety, at least this early in the morning. Olivia was usually the one tsking those who smoked outside of a hospital, but at the moment, she was okay with being a hypocrite. | ||||||||
