Who: Audrey and Eli
Where: their house
When: very late

Audrey had waited up for Eli, not sure how things were going. She'd wanted to go with him to the meeting, but it hadn't been allowed. So, she waited, instead. She nibbled at her lower lip, already sitting up on the couch when she heard his approach up the porch steps. When the door opened, she was already talking. "How was it?"

Eli was still overwhelmed when he left the meeting, having accepted the idea that he was a werewolf on the word of others, plus the idea that there were vampires about. That hadn't been mentioned at the werewolf meeting, but at dinner with Corey and her grandfather. He hadn't gotten a chance to tell Audrey about his strange dinner experience, which was how he knew she had to be asking about the meeting. Now that he'd been through it, he was glad she hadn't gone with him. They would have sniffed her out immediately. "It was weird," he said, glad she had waited up for him. "The whole night's been weird. Do you want me to start with dinner or the meeting?"

Subject:The Dinner
Time:07:03 pm
Who: Corey, Eli, and Serge
Where: Corey and Serge’s house
When: Evening

It should’ve been so normal, so mundane, but for Serge Greylin? This was one of the stranger moments he’d found himself in in years now. Putting the finishing touches on a simple dinner in the kitchen, he couldn’t help reflecting on how foreign all of this was, and how removed he was from any semblance of the normal world. Serge hadn’t cooked a proper meal since the old days, and then only for himself. He’d never expected to be doing so for company, especially when that company was his granddaughter and the boy who’d orbited into her life.

He could only hope that Eli would measure up, already doubting it but trying to at least give him some benefit of doubt for the moment. So he was possibly infected, potentially damaged like most survivors, and probably sweet on Corey… that definitely stacked Serge’s favor against him, but he was going to try. If only for Corey. And when Eli finally got here? Serge would find out just how determined he really was to withstand the old Russian’s scrutiny.

Time:06:00 pm
Who: Claire and Gabe
When: Afternoon
Where: Claire's then out

It had been three days since Ren died. Seven since she had talked to Ren last. Claire had skipped out on school, and even work, staying home and laying in bed like a lazy asshole, but she hadn’t been able to muster the energy or desire to do anything else. The rain seemed to have stopped earlier that morning, and the sky was clear enough to brighten Claire’s room considerably. This prompted her to take her pillow and hide her head underneath it to block out the light. She needed to get up and take a shower. Get dressed. Eat. Do something productive. Useful, maybe. Claire told herself that she would. Soon. Just... not yet.

Gabe knocked on the door three times, then let himself in. It had been days since he’d seen Claire last and it was time to get her out of the house, where he presumed she was hiding. He understood the desire to stay in bed and mourn, but he knew it wasn’t going to help her any more than it had helped him. They’d both lived with death for years. While they’d felt safe in the dome, this wasn’t any different. Gabe wasn’t past it, but he knew it would take work, and he hoped maybe he could help Claire with that too. “Claire!” he called out, heading towards her room. “Get up. We’re going out.”

Time:05:37 pm
Who: Finn and Audrey
Where: Their house
When: late evening

Finn had spent the rest of the afternoon, having a couple of drinks at the pump, then sneaking away for another make out session. It was getting late when he left and even then Finn didn’t want to go, but he couldn’t stay the night away from home. It was well past dark when he slipped into the house, heading towards the kitchen first to find something to drink before heading to bed.

Audrey was feeling off, though couldn't put her finger on why. Maybe it was Liam's disappearing act. She didn't know. She didn't want to bitch about it or anything, but it hadn't felt good. She was in the kitchen, cleaning, for once not humming or singing to herself, as her thoughts were too deep to allow for it. She barely noticed when Finn arrived, but did at the last second. "Hey." she greeted. She noticed he looked a little disheveled, but that was all.

Who: Kenzie and Lance
Where: Their house
When: Late
Warnings: Language

Lance was definitely stumbling as he made his way up to the house, drunk on the moonshine in his hand that he’d been sipping on since he’d left Zania and her club. Part of him was wondering if he should have felt bad about what happened. The part where she’d said pretty explicitly that she didn’t do that sort of thing, then he’d gone and done it with her. He was also a little worried she’d want to be his girlfriend. He didn’t do girlfriends. Trainwrecks didn’t do girlfriends. Stumbling up the first few stairs he grabbed the railing just in time to spin himself and land on his butt on the top step, laying back on the porch itself, all the while managing not to spill a drop out of the open jar. Sign of a talented drunk.

His nose caught a sweeter smell in the air, head lolling to one side to see his cousin there. “Tell me that’s what I think it is.”

Who: Finn and Avery
When: Afternoon
Where: Central Park

With the rain having stopped, and the skies clearing up, Avery decided to take advantage of the nicer weather and maybe dress up a little. But only a little. She didn't want to look like she was trying too hard or whatever. She didn't have a whole lot of girly clothes, really, but she did have a dark blue sundress that barely skimmed her knees. She decided to wear it with a white cardigan, and she tied her hair up into a simple ponytail. She wasn't going to be like Darcy and primp in front of the mirror, but at least she wasn't in jeans and a boring t-shirt this time.

When it was time to meet Finn, Avery walked to the park, drawn in by the crowds, the food and booths set up everywhere. For an impromptu gathering, people were certainly on the ball, it seemed. She realized that they hadn't set a specific meeting place when texting earlier, so Avery began to wander through the park, glancing around for any sign of Finn.

Time:12:32 pm
Who:Skylar and Nic
Where: The festival
When: Evening

Skylar was all but scowling as the sun went down, packing up his things. He’d sold almost everything, but that hadn’t fixed his mood. He was still upset about whatever the hell had gone on with Clementine. She let some vampire dude drink her blood? How fucking weird was that. There were clubs for those sorts in LA and they were weird as fuck no matter how hot the chicks were. And then, then, Clementine got upset with him for not being amused that some other dude biting her was awesome.

Frustrated, Sklyar slammed his fist against the table in his booth, shaking the plant sitting on it. “Probably means you like her, Ace,” he said, to himself, though the voice wasn’t quite right. “Yeah, well, I don’t. She’s just strange,” he answered, voice back to his normal cadence.

Who: Darcy and Aidan
Where: Aidan's Room
When: Late

Darcy had followed Aidan as soon as he'd left his house. She'd been watching for him, waiting for him to leave and then she was after him. She knew how to follow, how to stay silent, better than most, because he'd taught her. When the got closer to Sylvia's house she slowed to a stop. watching from across the street. "Don't." She murmured it under her breath, barely there, not audible, but then he'd gone to the last house she wanted him to go to. She hadn't even thought to put the name with the weird girl from school. Because Aidan wouldn't be interested in such a strange girl. No one was interested in her. She didn't even have friends.

Who: Maggie and Mickey
Where: Town Center
When: Afternoon

Things weren't fixed with December, but they'd had a nice, comfortable night that she seemed to need and he wasn't going to complain. She'd come over to see him, spend time with him. It was something and he was holding on to it. The festival of sorts caught his attention, drawing him away from work as he moved through the small crowd, looking at what there was to offer and watching for familiar faces.

Maggie was enjoying the opportunity to get out and be social, especially on such a beautiful day. She set up a table near her shop and was painting ladybugs on people’s fingers for free, hoping to advertise her business. It was going fairly well, with a number of new customers setting up appointments, some for hair, some for nails. When she saw Mickey, she waved him over with a smile on her face. “Would you like a ladybug?”

Who: Sylvia and Aidan
Where: Sylvia’s House
When: night
Warnings: nsfw

Her home was like a menagerie of odds and ends, almost like an antique store. There was clutter everywhere, organized in ways that likely only made sense to Sylvia. Collections sat together, covering most flat surfaces, though there were shelves put up all over the walls as well, holding everything from rough quartz rocks to figurines, both broken and intact.

There didn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason to her collections. They could be anything, some that seemed to fit her personality, others which clearly did not. Her living room had been converted into a library, with the only other real feature being an old crank powered turntable and a collection of records shelved neatly beneath it.

On a jewelry chest in the hall by her room, she had a collection of keys laid out neatly, all kinds. Some old, some new, modern and antique side by side, seemingly arranged by finish, as opposed to type. There were also a few objects in there that did not seem to be normal keys, if they were keys at all.

Who: Noah & Darcy
Where: Classroom
When: Late morning

Noah liked red hair. It always caught his eye but he'd gotten fairly adept at watching it without being obvious about it. A flick of a glance here, a nod in the direction of a rightly answered question in class. He knew from observation that Darcy was a hard egg to crack and so he hadn't attempted small talk yet. If the snarky back and forth with her cousin Avery had any bearing on the possibilities, he knew he'd have to be on his A-game if he ever did talk to her. He pretty much figured leading with the info that he'd memorized the exact pattern of the freckles on the back of her neck and shoulders would get him slapped. Still it was something he'd done to pass the time. Along with myriad other detailed memorizations of his fellow classmates.

So it was on purpose that he deliberated for a long moment before speaking to her finally. He thought he had noticed she was without a pencil and after the study period he knew there was a test. She'd need it. "You need to borrow this?" he asked, holding up a finely sharpened number 2. It was as plain as they came and his expression said no strings attached.

Time:07:26 pm
Who: Zania and Lance
Where: Central Park
When: Evening
Warning: NSFW

Zania hated missing out on the daytime activities due to her “sun allergy”. It frustrated her to no end that she could be out there, meeting people and having fun, but was instead stuck inside. The best she could do was join in the second the sun went down, which was what she did today. It seemed as good an opportunity as any to advertise her club and raise a little money, so she set up a table alongside the other vendors, jars of moonshine out in front of her. And a bottle of juice. She’d taken a shot herself, just to get the party started, and waited for people to come by and drink up.

Lance still had Slyvia’s umbrella, closed and in one hand, using it more like a fancy cane, but mostly enjoying that he had it. He’d filled more of his pockets, some useful things he needed, including a pack of smokes, and some things he might have to refind the owners to to give back. Or just give to someone else. Pay it forward or what have you.

He was wandering booths now that the sun was down, looking at the lights, watching people, but the new booth caught his attention. That hadn’t been there earlier. Slowing his steps he gave the girl behind it a curious look. “So what’s this?”

Who: Zania and Jack
Where: her house
When: mid day

Jack had flowers to deliver. So, he went and got some--a rather big, brightly colored bouquet--and went to Zania's, figuring she'd be inside, considering her 'condition'. Which, as he walked, he decided was one hell of a suck ass drawback to being a bloodsucker. It was a beautiful day, and his brother was stuck inside, and she would be too. Bounding up the steps, his injuries twinging as he ignored them, he knocked on the door, the flowers behind his back.

Zania was home because, really, where else would she be on a beautiful, sunny day? She was fine so long as she avoided direct sunlight, which meant the windows were open, allowing a breeze to come through, and she was in the kitchen baking. It seemed like a good day for cherry pie. While they weren’t expecting visitors, Zania was always glad to have someone come visit, and she hurried to the door, opening it with a smile and a bit of surprise. “Jack! I thought you’d still be in the hospital!”

Who: Darcy and Aiden
Where: the brewery
When: Early morning

Darcy and Liam had fallen asleep, which was fine considering neither one of them had any business going out into the weather or the dark. She’d been curled up against his chest, sleeping softly until morning. When Liam had left she’d kissed him goodbye, holding on to his shirt for a moment before letting him go and going back to clean up. She was folding the blanket, hair falling down from where she’d slept on it pinned up, humming softly to herself. Yes, that was a good date.

Subject:Pack Meeting
Time:10:54 pm
Characters: Micah and OPEN TO ALL WEREWOLVES
Setting: Hospital Chapel, just after 10pm

Micah had watched them file in, the variety of patients in a variety of states. He'd chosen to sit up on the makeshift altar, not that a non denominational chapel would really have an altar, but it did. After a while, when he was sure no one else was going to drift in he stood up, watching them, meeting their eyes before giving a smile a shot.

"Thanks for coming," he said. "I think this is all of us, for now at least. Anyone who didn't come by, I'll go find them later." He shifted his weight for a moment before jumping into things.

"I know all of you are feeling weird. Heightened sense of smell, heightened hearing, things like that," he said looking around the room. "Maybe even some tweaks to your personality, and you're probably all running a fever. I know because I'm going through the same thing." He smiled again, feeling more like the doctor and standing up a little straighter. They will listen to you. They need you. The voice was in the back of his head reassured him.

"I've looked through everything and the answer, it's strange. But things are strange these days. Any of us who saw the zombies know that. That said. I think we're werewolves. Or we will be turning into them. It explains the quick healing, it explains the senses all of it. It's ridiculous, but there's been other weird things happening. It's not just us." He shrugged a little.

"That said, you can believe me or not. I can't prove it one way or another. But I can tell you that there's people out there that want to keep us in line. They'll hunt us if we step out of line, just like they did the zombies. We need to prepare. We need to stick together."

Who: Sylvia and Lance
Where: central park
When: afternoon

She didn't like using her big umbrella. It was too big, really. And while she'd done her best to dye it black from it's original bright and colorful garishness, she still didn't like it. But she'd given Aidan her parasol, and she hadn't been able to retrieve it yet. She had found his house, but people were there, so she hadn't gotten very close. She'd merely eyed it from across the street, then kept walking.

Eventually, she'd found her way to the gathering in central park. She'd climbed a tree, a big one with a full, heavy canopy of leaves. Then she positioned herself so she would be as shielded as possible from the sun, and watched the dome residents bustle around, pretending everything was just fine in their world. She had the urge to shake the ant farm this place was, though knew she didn't have the ability nor would she enjoy the result. But looking at everyone...the idea was certainly in mind.
