Subject:Doesn't Seem To Matter as Much
Time:01:36 am
Who: Mannix and Mickey
Where: December’s House
When: Night

Now that everyone seemed to be accounted for, maybe, just maybe, he could get that drink with December. It’d been forever since they’d talked about it. Since the full moon, maybe? And it just kept getting put off as crisis after crisis landed at their feet. While she still might have a morgue full of bodies, he was pretty sure that cause of death was clear for at least half of them, so maybe he could sweet talk her into taking a night off. It was with that in mind that he knocked on the door, hoping he had to drag her out of the house, rather than out of the morgue.

Mickey was up, his sleep scheduled a little fucked after having just crashed for almost a full day after everyone was accounted for. He was partially on December’s schedule, a result of sleeping on her couch, making sure he saw her if she left for work, making sure she was around, alive and well and he had a feeling that went two ways. They were getting better, or maybe just starting over. It left Mickey at ease with everything, which was an improvement on everything else. What had happened to him was still weighing heavily on him. His cuts were still there, including the one on his forearm, bandaged even if it could have gone without because he didn’t want to look at it. There were still bruises on his face and he was still in pain, still hurting both mentally and physically, but it was getting better. Slowly. He heard the knock, frowning and heading towards the door. “Did you forget your keys?” he asked opening it and finding himself staring at Mannix. “Oh, um, hey.”

Subject:Definitely Not Dead
Time:05:09 pm
Who: Mickey and December
Where: the morgue
When: early morning 04-18-2017

Zania had handed him over to the doctor and a nurse who set about cleaning him up and bandaging him back together. He could tell they were relieved all the blood on him wasn’t his, but he knew the nurse struggled as she tried to clean up and bandage where Violet had carved “JERK” into his arm. It was hard for him to look at too. Once they were finally done patching him up, his clothes were replaced with some loaned scrubs. The shirt was a touch too short, but considering it wasn’t covered in blood, Mickey was fine with it. His forearm was bandaged, as well as a cut over his eye from being smacked around. There were others bandages too, but the shirt covered the worst of them. What it didn’t cover was the nasty red marks around his wrists from being bound up, or the black eye he was sporting.

Part of him wanted to go home. Just sleep. But he needed to be somewhere else first. So once they let him go, instead of trudging outside, he headed downstairs, making his way into the morgue. “December?” His voice wasn’t as croaked, but it was still ragged, still hoarse, but they said that would get better as he got more rest and water.

Warnings Violence

Mickey kept flitting in and out of consciousness. It was hard to stay awake, between fear and exhaustion. There had been more cutting, more spots on his body burned from her shallow cuts that burned as they healed. His shirt was off, he was still tied to the bed, blood still on his skin. Some moments he wanted to break free, others he just hoped he died. It was a terrible place to be in, waiting for something to happen that wasn’t Violet and her constant torture.

Subject:Not a Good Boyfriend
Time:04:00 pm
Who: Mickey & Violet
When: Morning
Where: Violet’s place
Warnings: violence

Violet yawned lazily, opening her eyes with a smile as she snuggled up close to Mickey. She’d had Simon move him from the dining room to her bedroom once she’d calmed down. He was tied tightly, wrists and ankles each to a bedpost, but he was under the covers with her and she was pleasantly enjoying a nice rest with her arm draped across his chest, her hair spilling over his shoulder. He really was a good boyfriend, even if he hurt her. She knew he didn’t mean it. She closed her eyes again since he didn’t seem to be awake yet. She had good plans for them today but she could wait.

Time:12:47 am
Who: Mickey and Violet
When: Early morning
Where: Undisclosed location

Mickey was out longer than he should have been and when he came to, he wished he could pass back out again. His knee was searing in pain, that was the first realization. He tried to move, to stretch it out, only to find out that he couldn’t. His head was pounding, and he tried to do something, to move, but his hands were bound as well. He struggled again, finally opening his eyes and blinking as things tried to come into focus. Where the hell was he?

Violet had been sitting across the table from Mickey, looking periodically to Simon to whine about why he wasn't waking up more quickly. Then, when she least expected it, his eyes opened and she felt jubilant. Getting up from her chair, Violet pressed her hands down along the lavender silk dress she'd purchased the day before at the second hand store. She thought it was the sexiest dress in the world, the fitted bodice, the ribbony lace along the tulle skirt. Really it looked dowdy and aged but she didn't know that. Simon had said she was breathtaking and he'd meant it. She was beside Mickey in an instant, her arms going around his face to press a dramatic and lingering kiss to his cheek. "Oh, I was so worried about you. Are you okay?"

I'll just make you scream. Until your voicebox cracks and your dick falls off. )

Subject:Even down on one knee he wasn't useless
Time:01:53 pm
Who: Mickey and Violet
Where: Between Mickey's house & Maggie's house
When: Late (after this)

Mickey has rushed home to get his supplies after leaving Jack. Once he was on his way agin, the shotgun was in hand as he roamed through the dome. He also had a hunting knife he'd carried for years as well, just in case. He was hoping for the best and starting towards the woods near Maggie's house fanning out and looking for places that had even disturbed by something more than the rain.

Violet watched the man with the gun for a while as she followed him in the shadows. He was so cute, it was almost a shame that they were going to hurt him. He'd probably be a very fun boyfriend. Oh well. It was time to get this show on the road, she supposed. Taking a deep breath she let out a scream and sent herself hurtling across Mickey's path. Her eyes wide with terror, she looked over her shoulder and almost fell. "Help me! Oh help! Please!"

Time:01:58 am
Who: Jack and Mickey
Where: Maggie's House
When: late

Mickey left the bar with a smile, thinking that it was nice to have such a light conversation with someone. Sure, it wasn’t going to go anywhere. Odds were that he wouldn’t even be able to manage something like he had with Eily again, but it was nice to talk to her. It made him feel a little better. Less cold than his conversation with December. He was forcing himself to think on just Eily, that cheery smile, at least until the smell of burning caught his attention. He turned twice, seeing smoke coming from more than one direction, but one in particular caught his attention. “Maggie.” He knew where her house was and he saw the smoke. Grateful for the bike he pushed himself that way, as fast as he could, pulling up short at the sight of her house and yard on fire.

Mickey had worked relentlessly through the day and eventually sent Zania on her way, just to work some more. The sun was set and rumors were running rampant about more people being found dead by the time he was done for the day and just this once instead of heading directly home he stopped as he passed the bar. He didn’t expect the place to be up and running with the weather being what it was, but lo and behold there were patrons in there and it was up and running. What was one drink? He’d earned it that was for sure and it was better than being in the cold mist. Letting himself inside he shook out of his jacket and found a quiet end of the candlelit bar to sit at, blowing on his hands to warm them.

Time:12:39 am
Who: Zania and Mickey
Where: Mickey’s house
When: Morning

It was an hour or two before dawn when Zania crawled out of Lance’s bed and returned to her own house, preparing for the dawn to come. When she woke a few hours later to find it was still a dark and dreary day, she smiled, appreciating the chance to run around in the daytime again. She added wood to the fire in the fireplace, hoping to help Clementine keep warm, then heated up some peach cobbler over the fire. Warm fruit in hand, she hurried out into the cold, popping into Mickey’s place a few minutes later. Being able to move super fast came into handy in bad weather and she’d managed to stay dry.

“Mickey?” she called out when she stepped inside, heading towards his bedroom until she saw him curled up by the fire. “I brought you breakfast.”

Time:07:23 pm
Who: Mickey and December
Where: December’s house
When: Early afternoon

Mickey wasn’t going to do anything, but as soon as the weather got bad, he couldn’t stop looking at the spot on December’s roof that he’d been thinking about fixing for a while. He shouldn’t bother with it considering he wasn’t sure if his help would be an invasion or well appreciated, but then the sky got dark and he couldn’t stop himself. Which meant when the rain and sleet started, he’d already climbed the ladder and was working on part of her roof. He’d started at fixing it, then wound up just putting down a tarp as the weather turned, hoping it would hold through the worst of it. It was weird thing this weather, reminding him way too much of home, which was always an unsettling feeling. And if it was anything like home, it wasn’t going to get much better.

Time:12:45 am
Who: OPEN TO ALL
Where: A Barn
When: 6PM Onward

Mickey hadn't planned on attending the social event, but as it would always have it, he got a frantic phone call that the lights weren't working right and they needed a hand. He'd hurried that way, helping with the extra lights in the barn that had been cleared of most of the equipment so there would be space to dance. Tables had been rolled in and set up so people would have places to mingle and the grill was going at full capacity. By the time Mickey had solved the electrical problem, the barn had lights up as well, and the band was starting. It wasn't a bad atmosphere to get stuck in at all, and despite his reservations, he'd been handed a beer and was taking in the party with everyone else.

When: Late morning

Mickey had a full day ahead of him, even after a shorter night’s sleep than he would have liked. It was one thing to be exhausted, but thoughts had drug him from dreams again and again and in the end it was a fitful night at best. He was doing like he always did putting his head down and focusing on work and not wondering where Lily was or if December would ever speak to him again. She certainly wouldn’t consider him a possible interest that was for sure, and he wasn’t even sure if she’d want to stay the kind of friends that actually spoke to one another or just the ones that knew each other. He wasn’t thinking on it now though, focusing on work instead, making appointments for fixing things around the dome, but knowing he had a stop to make first. Zania was owed something for her bar for being so good to him, which meant he was determined to do a good job.

Armed with drawings and ideas, he pedaled his way towards Jyoti’s shop, knowing it’d be an interesting experience as it always was with the woman, but despite her nature, she did good work and could be relied on for that. Leaving his bike outside he let himself into the studio, looking around. “Jyoti?”

Subject:Trying Not To Overthink It
Time:11:47 pm
Who: Noah and Mickey
When: Late morning
Where: Counter at Eatzy's

Noah had skipped first period with Darcy, slept in with her, kissed her, and gone before she got dressed for second period. He thought about going to school but it seemed so pointless at the moment. Plus the teachers were expecting him to be out this week for the most part anyway. He'd set that up so he could find Sylvia. But she was found now and he was relieved at least that she was safe. Not dead somewhere. He was frustrated with the situation and not sure about dinner with the O'Reillys either. Too much was happening in his head so he decided to skip school and go get something to eat. Be somewhere he didn't have to think too much if he didn't want to.

Sitting at the counter in Eatzy's, Noah ordered something hot and greasy and strong, black coffee. Caffeine helped him focus and sometimes brought down the raging headache that he always seemed to have. He started doodling on a napkin as he waited for his food. Sipping coffee and writing ideas for the program he wanted to develop with Audrey for orphans in Delphi. And writing strategies for surviving the O'Reilly dinner with his balls still attached to his body. He wasn't going to say he was scared but it was one of those things he was going to do purely because Darcy wanted him to. Sometimes you do things you might not normally want to do when you're addicted to something or someone. And he was very much addicted to Darcy.

Subject:Don't Work To Death
Time:08:15 pm
Who: Mickey and Zania
Where: Zania's house
When: Morning

Mickey stuck around the encampment until well after dawn, making sure everyone had made it out of the cages, that whatever could be taken down was and was one of the last ones to leave. He could have gone home, maybe changed and showered, but he was determined to just keep working, and he’d promised Zania he would come by. After seeing her face when Lily sort of bailed on her, he wasn’t about to do the same. So he went straight to her house, knocking on the door, leaning on the frame to take the weight off of his knee and give himself a moment to get his emotions in check. He was trying hard not to think about how badly things were going, how he probably just needed to lay low for a good month.

Subject:Crashing the encampment party
Time:09:50 pm
Who: Zania, Lily, and Mickey
Where: The club, then the werewolf camp
When: Early evening

Lily was headed in the direction of Zania’s club, eyes perpetually darting up towards the sky. The sun had begun its descent and there was absolutely nothing she could do to keep it sitting pretty where it was, in all its blazing glory. She was full of so many different emotions that she could barely function. She’d spent most of her day with Lochlan and despite them both being under intense stress with what the night held for them, they had an amazing time together. She had received a text from Mickey not too long ago asking if she’d like to have dinner tomorrow night, a whole nother kind of stress building within her about the conversation that she was going to have to have with him about that.. it was something she would deal with later. Unless something bad happened tonight, then there would be absolutely no dinner because she wouldn’t be leaving her house. She wouldn’t even be leaving her bed. Any distraction she had managed to afford herself previously had begun to wear off as the entire reality of the situation hit like it hadn’t before. She thought she had fully wrapped her mind around what was to come, but with each hour that drew closer to the rising of the full moon, the more she realized she had just begun to really get it.

She looped around to the back of the building, noticing a door propped open. She walked in slowly and looked around curiously. She hadn’t had a chance to actually see the club indoors yet; this would have been incredibly exciting if she didn’t have a dark cloud of doom hanging over her. “Hello? Zan?” She didn’t hear a response, so she continued further in until she spotted some bottles of wine and glasses. She was drawn to them like a magnet and looked around, still not seeing anyone. She took the liberty of pouring herself a rather large glass with the bottle that was already uncorked, bringing the glass to her lips as she continued to hold tight to the bottle’s neck. She took a few steps over to a nearby window, the darkness that had tinged the surroundings being completely unsettling. She couldn’t be here, not right now. She took several large sips from her glass before downing the rest of it, immediately pouring herself another. She didn’t take her eyes off the sky once.

Zania couldn’t leave for her club until the sun was fully behind the trees. At least she wasn’t far from her own house, being stuck at Lance’s all day, and she was able to swing by there, shower, and change clothes. It didn’t take long, not with her dreads and her inability to see in the mirror, hence put on makeup. It was just starting to get dark when she arrived, and she called out to Lily as she came in, a bottle in her hand, her portable stereo in her bag. “Lily, you here?” she asked, pushing the door open the rest of the way and turning on the lights.

Subject:Full Moon Rising
Time:10:06 pm
Who: Mannix and everyone at the encampment
Where: The Werewolf Encampment
When: Sunset through Moonrise

As soon as the sun fell down behind the trees, Mannix hurried down to the werewolf encampment. The moon still had a while before it rose in the sky, but they didn't know the exact timing. He wanted all the werewolves locked in their cages, ready for whenever that moment hit. He knew he wasn't the authority figure at the camp, but he had the feeling December was already there, guiding people. It was a good role for her, non-threatening to the wolves who didn't see her as an authority figure.

When he arrived some people were in cages, others were out, but everyone seemed to be heading that direction. He cast a glance towards the sky. The full moon was on it's way and when it got there they'd finally know what they were dealing with.

Who: December and Mickey
Where: on the way to the encampment
When: early morning

December had worked pretty much all day at the encampment, gone home, slept for too short a time, then got up to go to work. She buzzed home really quick, mainlining caffeine, she hopped into a cold shower to help jolt her awake more, then she was out the door again, holding a baggie of crackers in her teeth as she exited the house, yanking her shoe on. She stopped as she saw Mickey there, waving as she finished with her shoe, half hopping down the stairs on one foot before she was on the ground, dropping the crackers to her hand. “Morning!” she said. “C’mon, we can walk-and-talk.” she invited, since she’d got his text about wanting to talk.

Mickey had caught a few hours here and there after leaving Lily, exhaustion taking over more than anything else, because his mind sure as hell hadn’t slowed down any after he left her house. By the time the sun was up he was dressed and ready to head towards the encampment, assuming if he didn’t catch her before then, he’d see December there. What he wasn’t expecting was her finding him, waving him over as he closed his door and grabbed his tools. Nor was he expecting the good mood. What he wanted to talk about might put a bit of a damper on that for both of them. “Walking works better with both shoes,” he teased ever so gently, not wanting to jump into things just yet.

So, there was a great clearing, which was nice, and weirdly, a lot of people seemed to show up. She had opted to go buy a lot of water, and other shit, almost like she was setting up for a town freaking picnic. Only instead they were building super fun werewolf cages. Right.

As people milled around, she looked at everyone, and stood up on a cooler she'd brought. "Okay! So, hi. I'm December. And I figured this was our best bet, so that's why we're all here. To make sure tomorrow night doesn't get stupid and terrifying at the same time. Thanks for coming. Let's get this show on the road as fast as we can, and get this done. Honestly, with this many people it shouldn't take that long." Which was kinda shocking, but damn. There were a lot of people. "Any questions, find me and ask. Have at it."

Where: the diner
When: late evening

Mickey left Zania just after dawn, untangling himself from arms and legs, and waking her to tell her he was going. She kissed his cheek and thanked him before rolling over and going back to sleep. The day, despite the lack of sleep, had been busy, finishing the last of the repairs from the wolf attacks around the dome and one leaky sink. After all of it, he finally sat down for his first meal, dinner alone in a booth at the diner. It was still too early for Zania to be in, but he wasn't there for that, just to and then muse into his coffee cup about what he did next. He wasn't any closer to an answer around December though he was pretty sure he'd landed with Zania. She was in need of moving on, she had moved on, and he needed to let her go. Which left him alone. Mostly. He fought back the sigh and went back to watching the tattooed waitress he'd been using as a distraction all night Though mostly it was her energy and movement that had his attention, but to anyone not in his head, it could easily be mistaken for something else.
