I remember reading somewhere once that February is basically just the worst month
and you know what? Agree. Tired of cold weather and snow and short days that don't even make sense because i'm not sure how we even have a SUN in this place and look I'm not good at science but im pretty sure -- you know. it doesn't work that way? anyway. apparently there's extra february this month and i just wanna say that i think that's bullshit. even Lucky thinks it's bullshit and he's a dog.

Every once in a while, I just kind of get to missing weird things from back home.

Like, Twitter. And the comments section on Youtube. Sometimes you just wanna watch people argue in circles without having to be a part of it.

Aww, snow. It's really happening out there and I don't know if I like it or hate it. I definitely don't have the right shoes for tromping around in that stuff. Gonna steal me some Winter Soldier boots.

New month, new Starklandia project. Tony Sr.'s been doing an admirable job getting the medical center stocked over time, but as we all know: emergencies and injuries are never things you plan, and it's always better to know as much as you can before one starts kicking.

To that end: it'd be useful to have a medical history on file for everyone.

I understand that for some of us, these feel like very private things, so if you're only comfortable giving bare bones, that's completely fine. They of course won't be widely circulated; this is for everyone's personal protection. I'll keep them on file and if we ever establish a medical staff, share it there.

I'd suggest starting with blood type, any known allergens, any medication you have been on or would need to avoid, major illnesses, and prior surgical history for those of you with basic human biology. For those with alternate considerations, whatever you know your most urgent needs would be in an emergency where you didn't have the ability to communicate them, please start there.

If anyone has questions or wants help writing things up, I'm in the library all day.

Excellent. On an unrelated note, I woke up and there's a goat in my apartment.

Coming with a request for the library team. We're still under construction - and thank you to everyone who's volunteered their time and talent to help get the building set up, it's incredibly appreciated - but I'd like to start having specific lists we can consult when we're starting scavenging to fill these shelves that are being built.

This is a place to post any specific titles - books, DVDs, music, research materials, what have you - that you've been particularly jonesing for, so we can do our best to keep an eye out. Please feel free to message me privately if there's any requests you're not comfortable letting the general public know you'd like: I will not tell on you if what you want more than anything in the world is the Twilight series, movies about singing chipmunks, or 1970s porn magazines.

I know there are a lot of reference things we need to be on the lookout for, but please don't be shy about requesting anything you'd like for entertainment purposes, either. I'd like to have an individual list for everyone - the whole idea behind the library is to make it a true community space.
