My fellow dimensionally marooned, in the effort of conducting research on the commonalities of our disappearance and eliminating down to the lowest common denominator, would all those willing please disclose the circumstances surrounding the time of your disappearance? What was happening in those moments in your life, perhaps even the world on a macro scale if you are so informed.

Sharing your story can absolutely be private, I understand completely. Please be assured that, as a doctor, I hold confidentiality in the highest regard. The only reason I ask is to examine why we were affected. I believe there may be parallel congruencies that left our realities and us, as individuals, all vulnerable to dimensional bleed at the time in which we were taken.

In the effort of transparency and fairness, I will share my own story. Scientific fascists had just invaded Earth and almost succeeded in wiping out every last trace of magic. My librarian and I defeated them and began to foster the rebirth of magic in reality 616. I decided to take a sabbatical to recover while it regrew when I found myself here.

I am having an incredibly difficult time finding amusing ways to pass the day.

Surprise trips to alternate dimensions aren't cool. I don't have any underwear, toothbrush, or deodorant. That last one you guys are absolutely going to regret, trust me. I don't even have a change of clothes, and this suit does NOT breathe.

So I definitely didn't bring myself here and now I can't get myself back so who brought me here and why? And most importantly how do I get home?

While we're on the subject of being responsible adults who ought know how to garden (which, sorry, I don't and you don't want me trying), there's some stuff that all of us probably need to be focusing on a bit more.

While I'm trying to work out a way out of here, it's slow going so for now this place is our home. We've got to work a little harder to make this place sustainable, because you never really know what those doors will or won't uncover.

That said, for those of you who go out there scavenging, it'd be really great if you brought back any of the following:

Chickens. Like, live ones, preferably.
Goats? I guess?
Vegetables / seeds for planting
Medical supplies (penicillin, bandaging, disinfectants, etc - talk to one Stephen Strange about the particulars.)
Cleaning supplies
Hygiene supplies
Non-perishable foods, bottled water
Camping gear
Cooking gear.
Bedding

I'm going to make sure that one of the buildings in town can be used as a medical center, and another that's stocked with essentials that everyone can use as is necessary. Any help or further suggestions would be great.

PS: I'm working on digital stuff too. I know it doesn't seem as important to some but let's not live like sad people in the woods. I've got an upgrade ready for these phones, and we'll get a server going. Shared music and videos, anyone?

So, apparently, it's John's birthday today. I figured since we didn't really do a re-opening celebration, this is a good time to mark the occasion of that AND to throw a party for him. Any excuse, right?

He's through the door for today, so I figured it's safe to ask you guys to bring over stuff to celebrate. Decorations, food, maybe more booze (definitely more booze). It would also be awesome if we had a cake.

Any volunteers? Requests?
