Hi everyone,

Coming with a request for the library team. We're still under construction - and thank you to everyone who's volunteered their time and talent to help get the building set up, it's incredibly appreciated - but I'd like to start having specific lists we can consult when we're starting scavenging to fill these shelves that are being built.

This is a place to post any specific titles - books, DVDs, music, research materials, what have you - that you've been particularly jonesing for, so we can do our best to keep an eye out. Please feel free to message me privately if there's any requests you're not comfortable letting the general public know you'd like: I will not tell on you if what you want more than anything in the world is the Twilight series, movies about singing chipmunks, or 1970s porn magazines.

I know there are a lot of reference things we need to be on the lookout for, but please don't be shy about requesting anything you'd like for entertainment purposes, either. I'd like to have an individual list for everyone - the whole idea behind the library is to make it a true community space.

My fellow dimensionally marooned, in the effort of conducting research on the commonalities of our disappearance and eliminating down to the lowest common denominator, would all those willing please disclose the circumstances surrounding the time of your disappearance? What was happening in those moments in your life, perhaps even the world on a macro scale if you are so informed.

Sharing your story can absolutely be private, I understand completely. Please be assured that, as a doctor, I hold confidentiality in the highest regard. The only reason I ask is to examine why we were affected. I believe there may be parallel congruencies that left our realities and us, as individuals, all vulnerable to dimensional bleed at the time in which we were taken.

In the effort of transparency and fairness, I will share my own story. Scientific fascists had just invaded Earth and almost succeeded in wiping out every last trace of magic. My librarian and I defeated them and began to foster the rebirth of magic in reality 616. I decided to take a sabbatical to recover while it regrew when I found myself here.

Would anyone be interested in some kind of neighbourhood watch set up? We're all concentrated in one place, leaves a pretty big area going unsupervised.

Well if anyone gets hold of those chickens we've at least got a coop for them. Also some kind of weird seabird that turned up and tried to nest in the shield, so, there's that.

Oh man. This can't be good. Alternate dimensions, really? Is it the 2nd Tuesday of the month already?

Surprise trips to alternate dimensions aren't cool. I don't have any underwear, toothbrush, or deodorant. That last one you guys are absolutely going to regret, trust me. I don't even have a change of clothes, and this suit does NOT breathe.

Any way, hello, I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, and if this is Mysterio you're going to be SORELY disappointed by the smudges I put all over that fishbowl of yours.

While it's not nearly as pressing a need the list that Tony Stark very capably and thoughtfully outlined for us: there's been some discussion between a few of us about setting up a library.

Barbara and I are in the preliminary stages of planning - there's an empty building near Gwen & Jan's store that I think would work well for it, and it's got a room overhead that I might stake out for myself (unless anybody's called dibs) - but there are a couple things we'd love a little help with to get it off the ground.

1) Any other volunteers who love books, and cataloguing, and organizational systems. We'd love another team member.

2) Any volunteers to scavenge building materials and/or to actually build things, because we're gonna need bookshelves on bookshelves on bookshelves, and hopefully we can fill them. My personal skills with carpentry thus far include "able to tell the difference between a saw and a hammer" and "able to hold a hammer, probably", end of list.

3) Books, books, books. Whatever you're willing to donate that you have on you, or whatever you're willing to bring back on your various travels. If people have requested titles, I think we'd also be happy to be the keeper of those lists and pass on to our scavengers.


I'll defer to Barbara in the comments for anything I haven't listed.

Again, none of this is priority stacked up next to the Tony List! Just things to keep an eye out for, or if you have a little free time and want to come lend a hand. It'll be fun, and it'll hopefully make our corner of the world a little brighter. Thanks for the read.

I've been sitting on this all weekend, but the seance was a success in my humble opinion. So thanks everyone who came out, I'll let you know when we're having the next one to try and reel in some more of my wayward siblings in the future. Now who's a disappointment, daddio????

So I come out of my not cute little house to take a walk and my drum set was there. Excuse me! How did this happen? Are inanimate objects going to start showing up the way people are nowadays? At first I thought maybe it was a rando gift from Mr. Stark or Alpha Parker but!!!! These are definitely my drums</i> because I carved an angry faced Em Jay on the edge of the snare with my house key and it's still there.

How did this happen? I'm so excited but SHOULD I TOUCH IT? What if it's a trap? I mean, my Spider-senses are not going off so it's probably cool and I want to play them really bad but should I leave them alone, or...? I got my drum sticks a while back and I guess they're fine but this is weird and I want to say awesome but. You know what else would be awesome? If whatever entity is keeping track of things we want, can I just have all the corn dogs next time?

My name's Sam Wilson, and interdimensional travel gives me a headache. Is this a convoluted evil scheme or someone's failed science fair project? Or to rephrase, how prepared should I be to punch people?
