At the end of the day, Hayden knew there was only one place he wanted to be, no matter how many questions Ru had helped conjure in Hayden’s mind. He found himself outside Cassandra’s room, knocking on the door, intent on spending the evening with her, if not the night. It had been too long, and wasn’t the point that they were supposed to be together? Hadn’t that been the reason he’d been willing to rob for her, and ended up doing time for her? Sure, he’d intended to pay off his debts with his share of the money, but that wasn’t the point. He never would have considered it if it wasn’t for Cassandra and now he had her back, even if they weren’t technically out yet. He had questions and he intended to ask them when the time felt right. It had been so long since anything felt right, but maybe tonight was a start. It was hard to wait patiently, but he waited, not wanting to bang on the door and alert his brother.

Zach had the book, David Copperfield, open in front of him, reading it. He'd made significant progress in the few days he'd had his hands on the book, and despite Ru's challenge, he'd still spent a significant amount of his time alone, but for now he was enjoying the peace of being outdoors, and not confined to his room. Sometimes, that was nice, comforting in a way that four walls could be, but other times, he wanted this, to feel as if solitary wasn't necessary.

Jeremy was eating. It didn’t taste like much of anything because word was getting around that the nurse was dead, like really dead. Jeremy wasn’t the type to feel guilty for things, but that was sitting a little hard with him. He’d manipulated people into doing plenty of things, some legal, many illegal, most breaking some vow or another, but murder? He hadn’t set that up yet.

Grace was someone who almost entirely subsisted on coffee, so it wasn't shocking for her to show up in the kitchen around ten or so in the morning, looking to make herself another pot of it. One that she would be more than willing to share, if for no other reason than, if she drank all of it herself, then she'd end up with the shakes, and that was never good or attractive.

After setting up the coffee pot to do its thing, she started to gather a coffee cup and the sugar and creamer that she would need. She liked more coffee than creamer and sugar mixed together, but she still enjoyed a little of both in her stuff.

Settling at one of the small tables, she waited for the coffee maker to finish its thing.

It dawns clear and is a sunny day with fluffy clouds and blue sky. The storm has cleared off all the humidity and it’s a lovely day! ◊ E V E N T S ◊ The camera system remains down throughout the day. Several people are removed overnight with no explanation given by the Administration. ◊ C O M M U N I C A T I O N S ◊ The following message appears on the computers. It flashes until read:- Given the events within the facility during the camera outage, the GPS trackers on your tags have been activated. If we have any reason to believe that anyone has removed their tags between now and the cameras being reactivated to avoid being tracked, they will be removed from the facility with no further warning and no appeal.
