She'd thought long about it, even confided to someone slightly, until she was absolutely certain-- with pros and cons and everything-- that it was at least worth a shot. The only hesitation is that she might be shoving someone else into this mess.

But after half a moment of drumming her fingers on the communicator, she flicks it on anyways.

I've heard a couple of new people around, so I thought I'd make myself known. Hey guys! I'm Gino Weinberg. And I'm offering my help to everyone, well actually, all the new Marinarians. [Yup, he's borrowing the term Yuuki coined!]

What can this guy do for me? You might be asking. Well, I can't get that chain off your foot and I can't get you back home, but I can help you with all those pesky chores you're no doubt doing right this moment. I'm a great hand at laundry. Just ask Kallen and Suzaku! And I'm pretty good at gardening too. So just give me a call if you need me! I'll be pretty much available all day. And the days after.

[He gives a wave and shuts off the camera. You can find him in the laundry room! Or - wherever the robots are taking you to do chores!]

[When you first see Asch's face, he is mad. Teeth grit, fists clenched, face as red as his hair in rage mad. He's trying to stand straight and intimidating but his shoulders are shaking in anger and, without his sword and hampered by the restraints, he's little more than a furious rooster at the moment.]

[His restraints definitely do show signs of trying to be chiseled off with whatever he could have grabbed upon arrival - chipped bits of flashlight can be seen in the chain - and it's only his failure to do so himself that's prompted him to try this damn device and network for assistance.]

Whoever's sick, twisted, damn idea of a joke this is, you have less than thirty seconds to get this thing off of me before I make sure you wish you were in prison yourself, because I have much better ideas for what to do with you than any of the fonbots in this forsaken pit!

[Today is quieter around the shelter -- and there's less food. It's getting kind of cramped in here, isn't it? And boring. There are plenty of games and entertainments left over from the party, but everyone is gathered together and... finding things to do.]

Good morning, Marina! [Have a very smiley pink haired girl on your video feed!] For anyone I haven’t met, I’m Lacus Clyne and I’m very glad to meet you.

It seems as though we’re all going to be in the shelter today, so we should make the best of things. I was thinking that we should get together and have a big winter banquet! Anyone who wants to help cook should please feel free to come to the kitchens and assist, and if not you should still come and enjoy the food with us.

Dinner will be served at 5 in the main cafeteria, and after that maybe we could have fun playing games and watching movies together. I hope everyone has a good day, and I hope to see everyone at the feast!

I just learned that today is also Ritsuka’s birthday! To celebrate there will be a cake and some special desserts and decorations. [as many decorations as they can find without access to the store.] Everyone please, stop by to wish him a happy birthday!

Hello. [She didn't sleep much last night. The announcement could wait, but she doesn't think it's going to get easier, so sue pushes ahead. She wants to be strong for his sake. To make him proud of the way she's handling his business in his absence and so that Suzaku and Nunnally won't have to worry about her too. She can be there for them instead.]

I regret to tell you all Lelouch vi Britannia has left Marina.

I will be taking over all his administrative duties at the school. Literature and Philosophy classes will be put on hold until a replacement can be found. [ It wasn't his usual morning for taking breakfast in the shelter, but the meteor last night had distracted him. It had been worth it though. Sliding into a seat at the shelter, Hei glances idly at the counter and the bowl of candy resting on top. ]

Halloween again?

[ He idly pulls a piece of candy out of the bowl while he waits for the bot to finish his order for half a dozen omelets. It's a gradual change though, as he slowly shrinks down in size, gaining speed as Hei continues to pick at the bowl of candy. And then his network device falls and Hei almost looses his balance on the stool.

It's when he picks up his device however, that his now clumsy fingers manage to press the video button, opening up a channel for everyone to see. Please don't mind Hei's slight disarray. His shirt is nearly big enough to cover all of him now.

How awkward.

Clearing his throat, Hei stares down at the activated video screen and glances back up to the counter now somehow looking far out of his reach. ]

Good evening, Marina. Thanks to an inmate request, tonight we are going to observe a lovely meteor shower in the night sky using the star projector. I have arranged viewing areas on the beach with some light refreshments. However, you should be able to see the meteors from anywhere in the dome.

If anyone would like to see star patterns or other sky-scenes from their own worlds, please don't hesitate to contact me. If you have photos or descriptions I can make a program for the projector quite easily.

[After some research, it turns out that Diva's second Chevalier is indeed missing. Even the one was dangerous, but there may never be a better time to act. And as much as Saya wishes it weren't so, the last encounter showed her that she can't do this alone.]

[What she can do though is make sure that the person who helps her won't get themselves killed in the process. And she has a whole crew of potential people... plus a boy who she knows. Asking him privately seems a little personal, so she just adds him to her filter.]

[Guy makes a move to swat the thing away, very gently. His voice is tinny and faraway from the communicator.] Hey, don’t be like that -

[A hand reaches over and wrenches the communicator away, and it’s Guy, making an appropriately put upon expression. But he regards the dark haro, formerly Nena’s, instead of the device and whoever might be watching the feed.]

[Again, it interrupts:] Stuck your hand in me! Hand in me!

[The feed cuts abruptly.]

Wow, this place is awesome! A rink, an arcade, a movie theater - ! And check this out - I'm even doing laundry! [anyone who has ever done laundry before will pale at the amount of detergent Gino is throwing in] Anya should totally be here to see this.

I wonder if this makes me a real commoner now. [god, that would be so awesome.] I can't wait to check the entire place out later. The arcade first, then the theater! [and then maybe an exit, but he doesn't think he'll be that lucky.]

[pause] You know what else we should have here? A casino! One with all those light up slot machines. Now that would be really cool.

[ video on, and you're staring up at Yuri's face as he fiddles with his comm. he notices the video is working after a beat, and then -- grins into it. ]

Hey. The name's Yuri Lowell, if we haven't met. Just thought I'd give everybody a little heads-up -- Brave Vesperia is now open for business.

[ he steps back out of view and it's clear that he's claimed a little bit of Sector Three for himself, a small storefront with big picture windows. "Brave Vesperia" is hung up over the door, a bot-made sign. he's had some help with setting up. ]

Upon entering Sector 4, the very large tent that stands framed by the beach is quickly noticeable. Closer, one can see colors dancing upon the white sheets, like opalesque spires under the moving onyx sky. As you enter one of the wings of the tents, grass give way to wooden flooring, and chains of white blossoms and gold ribbons line the sides. The open dance floor in the center bids one to look up to whimsical white-gold lamps, balls of light dancing in seas of violet, blue, green and pink organza. The fabrics fall down pillars adorned with leaves and flowers. Tables set in white and gold with jewel toned flowers sit at the four wings surrounding the dance floor.

... but it is far too early to take a seat. Smile and greet your fellow attendee, take the hand of a friend, and dance to the music.



There are large tables with finger foods and punch (not spiked -- save it for the after-party!), and very little space near the walls (sorry, wallflowers! You won't get away so easily. ♥ )  After a large number of people are gathered together, Jeanne stands up on the small stage set to the side of the dance floor and taps on the microphone to get everyone's attention...

[It was time to feed. Quick and silent, it picked its way through the park, into the apartment complexes. A single bound launched it to the rooftops, and jagged claws threatened to tear straight through the material as it extended its senses, searching for telltale signs of heat and life.]

[It's been a while since Conrad's been in a library, but if he finds what he's seeking it's well worth the time spent. He browses idly though the short story section, looking for anything that might catch his eye.]

[A colorful book catches his eye, and quickly he removes it from the shelf to flip through it. A few lines later and he's laughing, a bit louder than he meant to. Diva would like this story, certainly.]

[Reluctantly, Zelgadis decides at the last moment to make this request via video. Perhaps if people can tell that he is in desperate need, they will be more likely to come forward. He can't, however, manage to remove his mask or hood, and so all you'll see under the beige swaths of cloth is a suspiciously shiny patch of lavender hair and two dark eyes that have excessively dark patches around them.]

I am in need of some assistance from anyone who is versed in healing or reversal magic, or perhaps advanced alchemy. [pausing, then as an afterthought] Or anyone who has successfully performed an augmentation of a human body.
