606 had its door open and the sound of two voices in discourse rushed into the hallway. One voice seemed to dominate the conversation more, sounding off in a hurried fashion while the other could be judged as sounding "Northern English", even if he wasn't British. The two of him, the Doctor, were in a room that was a hodgepodge of science lab, living room and library.

The Doctor paced around in his tux, glancing about at the buffet. The colour scheme for the party was done in his favourite colours, ocean blue and earthy browns. The food and drink covered a wide range of interesting selections. He indicated all the guests' tastes had to be represented and it certainly seemed as if they had been. To his slight amazement, there were even some Gallifreyan dishes. But why be amazed? he asked himself as he paced. Considering how this place or Lightbringer could pluck seemingly anyone from their own time and space, why would cuisine from his original world be a surprise?

His look instantly went from bemused to a big grin when someone arrived to officially make the occasion a gathering.

"Hello! I'm glad you could make it!!" he exclaimed. His long stride carried him past the arranged chairs and tables so he could greet the arrivee.

Edward sometimes needed time to think. It was easiest with Bella, where he didn't have her thoughts interferring with his own. Then sometimes, though, it was hardest. Not knowing what she was thinking drove him insane daily. Therefore, he had to take a walk. He chuckled to himself as he thought of the "to clear my head" statement. Fat chance in this place.

The Doctor left 606 after an interesting time there. Why interesting, aside from the fact that he created and recreated the space several times just to see what he might like having around him? Because he came away feeling relatively unconcerned, almost like he wasn't the same timelord who had regenerated due to the catastrophic Time War. While soaking in a bubble bath he'd simply realised that Rose and his regeneration would find the way to carry on.

He walked into the hall, pulling on his U2-type leather coat and slipping the key into one of the pockets. Closing the door, a sound attracted his attention. He looked at another man, very human from the look and initial smell of him, smiling.

"Hello. I'm the Doctor."
