Edward was on cloud nine. Bella had agreed to marry him. He knew Alice already knew about the news, but he couldn't resist going to celebrate. Therefore, early in the morning, while Bella still slept, Edward crept from the room. He left Bella a note, letting her know where he was so she wouldn't worry, then headed to Alice's room. He knew she was lonely without Jasper, and so tried to visit her as much as possible - particularly when Bella was sleeping, as neither he nor Alice did much of that.

Arriving at her door, he knocked. He smirked to himself, surprised she had let him get that far in the first place.

WHO: Bella Swan and Open
WHERE: Forest around the hotel.
WHEN: December 9, 1:30 pm.

Bella had decided to go out for a walk. Edward had been distant and she didn't understand why. She hadn't seen Alice either, Her best friend, her sister. She sighed as she looked around the woods that reminded her of home so much. She had started thinking of her dad, her mom, Phil and finally Jacob. Her best friend. The one who had put her back together when Edward had left.

As she walked through the woods she stumbled and tripped over the roots, falling to the ground. Suddenly a case of Deja Vu coming over her. She bit her lip as she curled into a ball, feeling that old familiar whole opening up again and this time there was no Jacob to help fix what he could of it. She felt the tears start to trickle from her eyes as she lay there wishing Edward would come back to her.

Edward sometimes needed time to think. It was easiest with Bella, where he didn't have her thoughts interferring with his own. Then sometimes, though, it was hardest. Not knowing what she was thinking drove him insane daily. Therefore, he had to take a walk. He chuckled to himself as he thought of the "to clear my head" statement. Fat chance in this place.

Bella had made her way up to her room after getting away from the freaks downstairs. She just wanted to shut herself away and avoid everyone. She found the room had two beds and went to one right away. She lay down and curled up in the fetal position much like she had when Sam had found her when Edward had told her he was leaving.

Edward Cullen was a very disturbed and distraught man. He had left his Bella and gone on a trek to find Victoria. However, only yesterday he received news from Rosalie, his sister, that his beloved Bella had jumped from a cliff. He couldn't control himself any longer. Although he had been the one to leave Bella, he didn't wish her to be dead. Far from it - he wanted her to live a long and healthy life, free of him and his undead family.

He did not wish to live if she weren't alive, and therefore had headed to Italy. He would provoke the Volturi into killing him. So far, it hadn't worked to plan - they only wanted him to join their twisted group. So he had a plan. He was going to expose their kind.
